Captain Lee’s 48th Wedding Anniversary Was “One to Remember” — But Not for a Good Reason

Love always wins!

Captain Lee Rosbach and his wife, Mary Anne, are celebrating 48 years of marriage — and it’s a wedding anniversary they’ll certainly never forget. The Below Deck OG recently took to social media to highlight the occasion and even though it didn’t go as planned, the couple’s love for each other prevailed.

On April 13, Captain Lee shared a bird's eye view photo from his eventful evening with his wife. As captured in the picture, Captain Lee’s feet were underwater while a pair of soggy cowboy boots rested on a hardwood floor. Judging from the messy situation, it seems as if the Stud of the Sea ran into some problems while embarking on a celebratory voyage.

He captioned the post, “This is how Mary Anne and I spent our 48th wedding anniversary.” He continued, “Just hitting the rack at 13:30 hrs and boy does it feel good. We’ve been thru worse, we cleaned up enough to get into a dry bed tonight and deal with rest tomorrow, as we do everything, together. Our 48th will def be one to remember. Damn I love this wom[a]n. Such as it was, Happy Anniversary honey.”

The tribute post garnered lots of love from fans and even struck the attention of a few Bravolebs. Below Deck’s Hayley De Sola Pinto and Summer House’s Lindsay Hubbard commented, “Happy Anniversary.”

2023 has been an epic year so far for Captain Lee. Not only did this mark another year of being happily married, but he also celebrated 10 years of being on Below Deck.

During March 27’s special episode of Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen, Captain Lee reflected on his triumphant journey and shared some of his favorite memories from over the years.

Captain Lee paid respect to Below Deck by sharing how much it “changed the face” of the entire yachting industry. "We were struggling to find people to get into the industry, because people in Iowa had no clue that [there are] jobs on yachts," he said in the Clubhouse at the time. He went on to explain how people didn’t know yachting jobs existed and that it would allow them to make good money while “see[ing] the world” and “hav[ing] a hell of a lot of fun.”

So what was Captain Lee's fondest memory of the show? "It was when I got to see my bride walking down the dock," he said to Andy.
