The Cleveland Browns have one of the best edge rushers in the entire NFL in Myles Garrett, so there are not many players that come close to him at his position.
But the Dallas Cowboys have one of them.
Micah Parsons is one of the scariest threats coming off the edge in the league, and that is shown by the 52.5 sacks that he has racked up in just four seasons. He and Garrett give opposing quarterbacks nightmares, and a recent post made by Garrett shows the two working out together.
The year that Garrett won the DPOY award, Parsons finished third in voting as a result of his 14 sacks and 18 tackles for loss. The Cowboys star is still searching for his first DPOY, but it will be tough while Garrett is still in the league.
Parsons was even recruiting the Browns’ superstar before he was extended by Cleveland. He signed a four-year, $160 million deal back in March, which makes him the highest paid non-quarterback in NFL history, which is a title that a player of Garrett’s caliber deserves.
As for Parsons, he is in the final year of his rookie contract thanks to his fifth-year option, which means the Cowboys will need to extend him soon. They took some time to do that with Dak Prescott, and especially CeeDee Lamb, but it will hopefully not take them as long with a player like Parsons.
So, Garrett, who is from the Dallas area, and Micah, who is now the defensive king of the Cowboys, hanging out together?
That's a scary pair.
Garrett and Parsons are two of, if not the two most imposing threats off the edge in the NFL, and they will be looking to get after opposing quarterbacks in the 2025 season.
