RHOSLC's Bronwyn Newport Discusses Opening Up About Daughter's Birth Story, Status With Lisa, and Mary’s Comment About Heather's Body Positivity, Plus Shades Britani Over Jared Osmond Drama, Admits to Being "Snarky" With Whitney, and Talks Rihanna Run-InBronwyn Newport appeared on Watch What Happens Live on Wednesday night, where she reflected on opening up to Lisa Barlow about her daughter Gwen‘s birth story on The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City.

As she also opened up about where she stands with Lisa, 49, reacted to Heather Gay‘s body positivity comments, and shaded Britani Bateman, 51, over her romance drama with Jared Osmond, Bronwyn, 39, admitted to being “snarky” with Whitney Rose, 38, looked back on a run-in with Rihanna, and recalled her emotional discussion with Lisa.

“[It was] incredibly hard for us to live her whole life, the majority of my adult life, and difficult to film also,” Bronwyn admitted of the chat on the October 16 episode of WWHL.

As RHOSLC fans may have heard, Bronwyn got pregnant at 19 with the child of a fellow Mormon, and she was blamed for the pregnancy by his parents.

Although the man ultimately died when Gwen was just two, Gwen is now hoping to connect with her grandparents.

“She’s the very best. She’s so mature. She’s waited a long time for this opportunity. I think she really wants to take it seriously. She wants them to take it seriously. And just like anybody else, she wants to be loved, she wants to be wanted, she wants to feel that connection,” Bronwyn explained. “It plays out. You’ll see it.”

Looking back at Wednesday’s episode, Bronwyn said she agreed with Mary Cosby, 51, that Heather, 50, should have sided with Angie Katsanevas, 50, in her spat with Lisa due to their long history with one another.

“If it’s been since high school, you kinda got to go there,” she reasoned.

As for Angie’s suggestion that it was a red flag that Lisa has had issues with every cast member, Bronwyn did not agree.

“In this group of friends, we all have problems with each other all the time. So I don’t know if that’s a red flag specifically about Lisa. It’s all of us,” Bronwyn noted.

Bronwyn then admitted that when it comes to her current relationship with Lisa, they’ve been better.

“Lisa and I, she did not call to wish me well today, but I think in the future, we’re gonna get back to that place,” she suspected. “I love Lisa. I’ve loved Lisa [for] a long time. We’re working on it.”

Also during Wednesday’s episode, Mary took aim at Heather, who recently lost weight with Ozempic, suggesting that her championing of body positivity was a lie.

“I don’t think we should be talking about each other’s bodies. I’m all for body neutrality. Let’s just not talk about what we do with our bodies, what our bodies look like,” Bronwyn said in response.

Regarding whether Britani had a right to be mad at Lisa, Brownyn denied any such thing, stating that Lisa “wasn’t the only one” warning her about Jared.

“We all told that woman, ‘You gotta get rid of him. He’s the worst.’ I don’t know how much better she can do, but she can do better,” Bronwyn declared.

Continuing to defend Lisa, Brownyn said she didn’t believe Lisa was behind the story about Whitney’s business.

“I say no. I’m Lisa’s old friend and I will tell you this: Lisa has never, I don’t have a business, but she never f*cked with one of mine,” she confirmed.

When Bronwyn was asked about Heather accusing her of being nice to Whitney’s face but snarky behind her back, she admitted to being snarky with Whitney — at first.

“I was snarky. Heather didn’t miscategorize it, but Whitney and I had a much longer conversation and she won me over. That’s the key,” she explained.

Also during the live broadcast, after agreeing that Heather was being a pot stirrer when she told Lisa about Angie’s parenting comment, Bronwyn applauded Mary’s fashion.

“I love Mary’s love of fashion, and honestly, I have to text her … because we will show up in the same thing,” she laughed.

Later, on the WWHL: After Show, Bronwyn was asked if she’d heard from Rihanna, a self-proclaimed Real Housewives fan, since she was the only other person who owned the heart-shaped jacket she wore during the premiere.

“Right before that episode aired, my husband and I were at dinner here in New York, and her back of her chair was to my back of my chair at a restaurant, and Todd was like, ‘You have to say hi. Tell her you’re on [RHOSLC] she doesn’t know you yet.’ And I was like, ‘Never would I approach the queen. Absolutely not,'” Bronwyn shared. “[And] I haven’t heard from her yet. I’d like her to get to know me and then come to me. No, I’m just kidding. She would never. But I would love to, like, maybe she could be me for Halloween. She has the pieces already!”

The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City season five airs Wednesdays at 9/8c on Bravo.
