Brittany Cartwright revealed she does weekly drug tests on her estranged husband Jax Taylor, and she addressed getting sexual and “disgusting” DMs from women he’s messaging.
Last year, The Valley star separated from Jax after an intense fight. She later filed for divorce, though Jax seemingly wanted to reconcile. Last week, Jax shared that he’s addicted to cocaine and alcohol, but he’s been sober for 100 days.
“I do drug testing [on Jax] every Monday, it scares me,” said Brittany on her When Reality Hits podcast, via @byewighellodrama on Instagram. “I am drug testing him myself for the safety of my son, and I’m going to continue doing that for a while.”
“I just feel like it’s just so hard,” she went on, “because even if he is sober, his actions have not changed.”
At one point in the podcast, Brittany addressed getting DMs from women Jax was messaging.
“I get DMs almost every single week from a different girl sending me disgusting messages that Jax is sending to them,” she said. “Who in their right mind would ever want to see that stuff? I mean, it’s been hard on me because, like, I am trying to move on and get out of this and I’m getting dragged into all these situations.”
“I don’t want to read these messages,” she added. “I don’t want to read this nasty stuff that you’re saying, these threats that you’re saying, these nasty, like, sexual messages. Like, how in the world does he think that makes me feel?”
“Why would they send that to me? As soon as he’s done love bombing them and he throws them away, they come into my DMs, and it is so crazy. Like, I get it, but … Jax also has to stop doing that. Like, you’re 45 years old,” she added, via @vanderpodrecaps on Instagram.
“It is constant for me,” Brittany continued. “And it’s just part of other reasons why I cannot believe anything that he says or does because I’m trying to protect my son. And every single day, I’m seeing all these different nasty, horrible messages.”
