Big Brother fans couldn't contain their fury, as a shocking move by Head Of House Marcello led to a surprise lineup of housemates facing the first double eviction of the series
Following the latest round of nominations, Marcello made the shocking decision to save his pal Thomas, and replace him with Baked Potato
However, Head of House Marcello was given the opportunity to either Save and Replace or deliver a Killer Nomination, and he opted to save Thomas, over Khaled, despite their close bond.
He said: 'It's definitely between Tom and Khaled - I love them both. Khaled is an incredible person, I feel like he's opened up more as the weeks have gone on, sometimes misunderstood, but I'm leaning towards Tom because right at the beginning, he was my day one.
'We had a good connection, so I think I'm going to choose to save Thomas.'
After struggling to choose who he would like to put up for eviction, Marcello returned to the house, and was asked by Big Brother to explain the reasons for his decision.
He said: 'I feel awful for it, I want you to know it's a massive compliment because I think you'll be saved. I'm really sorry,' before announcing he'd chosen to save Thomas, and replace him with Baked Potato.
The decision sparked gasps from the rest of the house, and outrage from many fans, given Baked Potato had received just one nomination so far.

'So you understand Marcello picking you Baked Potato but you can't understand why Khaled picked Lily for nomination... hmm interesting! Let me not say what I want to;

'Marcello has saved Thomas from eviction and has put up BAKED POTATO;
'I f*****g hate this series so bad. Ali, Khaled, Emma, Lily and BAKED POTATO UP FOR NOMINATION? The f*****g core group will pay!'
'Saved Tom and replaced with, Baked Potato!'
'Marcello I'm so disappointed you had ONE job - I supposed Baked Potato going home and watching Nathan cry will be a good enough compromise;
'MARCELLO had one job to save Khaled and replace him with Nathan. NOT SAVE TOM AND REPLACE HIM WITH BAKED POTATO;
'He f*****g put Baked Potato up, absolutely abysmal behaviour;'''
It also no doubt delighted the 'Upstairs Crew', who during Tuesday's show, infuriated viewers when they celebrated Marcello's appointment as Head Of House.
Thanks to a Catherine Wheel erected in the garden, it was then revealed that Marcello had been crowned the final Head Of House of the series, sparking huge congratulations from the rest of the house.
But after heading into the mezzanine, Hanah, Segun, Thomas and Khaled, were quick to share their delight, declaring 'justice was served,' and gushing that they were surely safe from being nominated.
While to some fans their reaction came as a shock, others may remember that this same group had plotted to try and get Ali evicted during her own tenure as Head Of House, with Segun famously branding her a 'red witch.'
The reaction sparked fury from some fans, who were quick to declare they'd been 'villains since the start,' and calling for at least some of them to face eviction.

'I will vote for any member of that ''upstairs crew'' that's up for nomination I think, that whole ''justice'' thing annoyed me when it seems like the house is in a decent place;'

'People are so down bad for the upstairs gang that they're all saying Thomas is a worthy finalist HAHAHAHAHHA;'
'How incredible would it be if Tom gets evicted this week after the garbage he has said upstairs. The group of boys need humbling so bad;'
'Now I really want Lily or Ali to win just to see the look on all the people sitting upstairs faces;'
'Now what if all that upstairs gang are nominated and Marcello has to pick his favourite to save and it rips them all apart into a big blazing mess?'
'Nah that upstairs group has rubbed me the WRONG way tonight. Vile;
'Hope everyone nominates all of the upstairs gang cause Marcello can only save one;'
