Big Brother fans are concerned they 'haven't had a chance to vote' as two more housemates are set to be evicted tonight (November 12).
The reality series already introduced a new twist in Monday's episode by giving one contestant a chance to win £10,000 from the total prize fund while also sending a rival home for good.
While housemates were gathered on the couch, they were instructed to pick from a selection of golden envelopes. Segun selected the one with a pound sign, meaning he was permitted into Big Brother's secret vault. He also chose three housemates to join him, however, whichever of the trio had the lowest amount of votes to win from the public to date, was evicted.
Baked Potato ended up being the latest to face a back-door eviction as they received fewer votes to win than Ali or Nathan, while Segun pocketed the cash as he correctly predicted Ali would be safe.
During companion show Late & Live, host AJ Odudu revealed that while voting reopened following the main show, it froze once again ahead of another back-door double eviction.
However, this only gave fans 15 minutes to have their say, with many complaining it wasn't long enough, and others not aware of the significance of the flash vote. Responding to the official Big Brother X account, a fan said: "Wtf, we didn’t even get a chance to vote!"
Another commented: "Not another back door eviction?????? Back door unlive [sic] evictions just ruin it all. Should make it longer like it used to be in the Summer and then back door evictions towards the end won’t ruin everything in the last week."
One viewer added: "Something we need to hear on #BBUK again… 'The votes have been COUNTED and VERIFIED'. We don’t want producer manipulation of the votes."
Other viewers were still unhappy about the latest twist, which saw Segun initially want to bring his closest allies into the vault with him, before realising one would be evicted. As soon as he made his choice, he hugged Hanah and Marcello while whispering: "I had to get you to the final."
One fan posted: "But will the person with the least votes actually leave or will you give 10k to Marcello and say he can evict anyone he wants?"
Another said: "Please go back to basics with nominations and evictions next series! No hardcore big brother fan likes these kinda twists!"
Some also complained about new rules introduced during the series, including the role of Head of House, which heavily influenced nominations each week.
