Bethenny Frankel faces backlash: Shocking statement about Hamptons 'not just for the ultra-rich' and the hidden truth about minority communities! - suong

Bethenny Frankel is facing backlash for claiming the Hamptons are filled with “not only rich people” but minorities, too.

“There are all kinds of people here. There’s a big Latin community here, big. There is an African American community here on the beach. Beautiful houses,” she said on TikTok.

“I had a house there one summer.”

“There are all kinds of people here. There’s a big Latin community here, big. There is an African American community here on the beach. Beautiful houses,” she said on TikTok.

The clip quickly went viral, with “The View” co-host Ana Navarro quickly calling out the “RHONY” alum for her racially charged comments.

“News flash: White people are not the only ones capable of having money. There are rich Black people and rich ‘Latins,'” Navarro, 52, tweeted in response.

Other X (formerly Twitter) users followed in Navarro’s footsteps and called out Frankel, 53, for her demographic analysis.

“News flash: White people are not the only ones capable of having money. There are rich Black people and rich ‘Latins,'” she tweeted.

“…because ‘rich’ means ‘white?'” responded one follower.

“Black People have always lived in The Hamptons. And yes, some of them are wealthy,” responded another. “She needs to stop.”

“What happened to people, not based on color, or culture, just human beings!” questioned another.

Frankel has yet to respond to the backlash, and a rep for the former Bravolebrity didn’t immediately return Page Six’s request for comment.

The Skinnygirl founder has admitted in the past that her TikToks could get her “canceled.”

This is hardly the first time the Skinnygirl founder’s TikTok videos have gotten her into trouble, as she’s previously admitted in previous clips that she’s at risk for “getting canceled.”

Fans slammed Frankel in September 2023 after she gifted a store cashier a $70 makeup palette because she couldn’t “afford” it. When a fan asked why the employee couldn’t make the purchase, Frankel explained, “Bc (because) she is a cashier at TJ maxx.”

The “Just B With Bethenny Frankel” host upset many fans who called her out for her “tone deaf” comment.

“That’s ignorant – a cashier at tj maxx can afford it if they save it. Comes across entitled and rude,” one user commented, with another adding, “Bethenny tone deaf. Stop it!”

Frankel’s friend-turned-nemesis Carole Radziwill even called her out for her actions.

“Who sent this to me? Lol. I mean stop this nonsense . So much to unpack but I’m not getting paid to do this any longer. But here…one ‘word’: #whitesaviorcomplex,” Radziwill tweeted over a video of the TikTok on Friday.
