Below Deck Stars Gael Cameron and Nathan Gallagher Welcome First Baby Together: 'Time to Soak Up Every Minute'

Gael Cameron and Nathan Gallagher are officially parents!

The  Below Deck Mediterranean alums welcomed their first baby together, a son, on Wednesday, June 25, announcing the exciting news on their Instagram Stories. The newly minted parents each shared a snap of themselves holding their little one.

Both Cameron and Gallagher expressed their gratitude to everyone for their love and support during this time. The proud dad wrote under his picture with his newborn son that it's "time to soak up every minute with this little guy."

The couple, who met while filming the Bravo show, first revealed their pregnancy in late March.

“Yep, you saw that right… now go ahead and speculate 😉✨,” Cameron captioned a March 30 Instagram video. 

The clip showed a glow-in-the-dark red figurine wearing a dress, dancing alongside a blue man stick figure to Lil Jon’s “Turn Down for What.” As the dancing continued, a smaller, green “baby” figure appeared. 

Family, friends and fans loved the creative announcement. 

“First baby of Below Deck crew? My heart 🥹🛥️,” one person commented. Another added, “You're having a green baby!?!? Congrats??”

Gallagher also joined in, adding, “Excitement is real 😍❤️.” 

The couple later spoke exclusively to PEOPLE about how they felt when they found out they would soon be parents. 

"Honestly, it was a mix of emotions. I was excited, a little scared, but mostly just overwhelmed with happiness," Cameron said. "It felt surreal in the best way, like everything was about to change in the best way possible."

The then-mom-to-be told PEOPLE she was "Feeling super bloated and like my body's expanding by the second." 

However, overall things were going “quite well” for her. “Craving all the things I can't have...I never wanted oysters more in my life. But it's all so worth it," she added. 

In a since-deleted Instagram Story post, Cameron shared a sweet Father’s Day message for Gallagher ahead of their little one’s arrival, Bravo reported. 

“To my dear Nathan,” a photo showing her handwritten letter began. “Only a few more days until you are officially a dad! Watching you grow, learn and develop as a man and father has been the best thing in the world. You’ll always be the most wonderful dad! Happy Father’s Day!”

“This time next year we will [be] celebrating with nappies, bottles, and lots of giggles as a family,” Cameron continued. “Our son and I are truley blessed to have you in our lives!! I know you will be the best dad ever!!!”

At the end, she signed herself as “mum” and revealed their son’s nickname to be “Baby G.”
