Below Deck fans demand Heather Chase be FIRED from show after she says racial slur on TV - suong

BELOW Deck fans are demanding that Brave fire star Heather Chase after she said a racial slur on national TV.

While out during a crew dinner, the chief stewardess said the n-word and then went on to deny it when she was called out by a co-worker.

Heather Chase used a racial slur during the latest episode of Below Deck

Deckhand Rayna called her out on it and told her it was not OK for her to ever use the n-word

After having some drinks with the team, Heather and deckhand Rayna went to the bathroom, and it was on the way back when the incident occurred.

As they’re walking back into the main room, they see Jake walking out and Rayna said, “This [n-word],” and Heather went ahead and repeated right after her.

Though Rayna laughed it off in the moment, she looked upset as soon as they were back inside, and later called Heather out on it.

Rayna told her: “You cannot say [n-word], you’re white as f**k.

“That’s cancel culture, you better be careful with certain words.”

Heather responded: “Did I say it? I didn’t think I said it, I’m sorry.”

Rayna added: “I like you but you gotta be careful. You know how people are, 2021 is… it’s not 2002 anymore.

“I still love you, I’m telling you just be careful.”

Fans weren’t as forgiving, though, and demanded that Heather be fired from the Bravo series.

One upset viewer tweeted: “We are gonna need Heather fired from Below Deck immediately!”

A second wondered: “Below Deck med fired a deckhand for posting a racist meme once.  why does Heather still have a job?”

Another added that the “difference they're showing Heather is truly inexcusable.”

Others called Heather “hateful” and said she needs to be “terminated” from the series.

After seeing all the backlash, Heather took to Instagram to apologize: “I am sorry for the hurt my ignorance caused Rayna in tonight’s episode.

“While I apologized to Rayna throughout the season, I cannot express enough how truly remorseful I am.”

She continued: “Part of my responsibility as Chief Stewardess is to provide a welcoming, safe environment for the crew and I fell short.

“Over the past nine months since this episode was filmed, I have learned how my words and actions can affect others and I vow to do better in the future.”
