The 29-year-old has 10 points in 14 games since returning from an offseason shoulder surgery on Nov. 5. He has played on both the top and second lines with fellow countryman Rantanen and the top power-play unit.

How Important Is Artturi Lehkonen’s Return For Avalanche

The Avalanche struggled to start the season and it has been a roller coaster in 26 games. The longest win streak is five games and it has been a challenge with rotating injuries throughout the lineup.

The pair of Finns play well together, as proven by Rantanen’s numbers. He earned 15 points in the first 12 games and only had two points in the four games before Lehkonen returned. The 28-year-old has 20 points in the last 14 games.

The 5-foot-11, 179-pound left wing scored 34 points in 46 games last season and had a career-high 51-point season in 2022-23.

The Florida Panthers have the most players on the nation’s team with four and the Dallas Stars have three. Colorado is the only other team with multiple players.
