The second season of the Real Housewives of New York City reboot is picking up steam. No, it’s not the show’s glory days, but the live viewership ratings remain consistent. Andy Cohen is now teasing the reunion and telling fans what they can expect. However, many still wonder how exciting the reunion can be when there hasn’t been much excitement in the episodes we’ve seen so far.
This season of RHONY has been heavily criticized. Yes, it seems to be finding its audience, but many agree that it’s the worst Housewives show currently airing. Still, Andy has said that they are sticking with this cast for the foreseeable future.
Recently, Andy opened up on SiriusXM’s Andy Cohen Live about the upcoming reunion of RHONY. According to him, “We shot the Real Housewives of New York reunion on Thursday. I cannot wait for you to see the looks. There’s something very surprising.”
His co-host then jokingly asked if someone from the cast showed nudity. “Well, I will say. Let me just say this: Someone keeps changing the game. That’s all I will say,” Andy responded.
Andy continued, “I will also say that it was great. It was a really good reunion. Don’t wanna oversell it. I know people have a lot to say about this season of The Real Housewives of New York. I think that the finale sets up the reunion very well because you will see that there is something very controversial and kind of upsetting at the end of the finale.”
His co-host asked if it had anything to do with Scientology, and Andy confirmed that they “did have a conversation about” the topic during the reunion. Of course, Rebecca Minkoff is a Scientologist, and many fans have had questions about her faith because she’s also Jewish.
Fans can listen to Andy’s SiriusXM radio show on channel 102.
