Andy Cohen wanted former Real Housewives of Miami star, Nicole Martin, to know the door is open for her if and (hopefully) when she’s ready to return to Bravo TV.
For context:
Speculation that the popular RHOM personality was not returning spread when fans noticed Nicole took any reference to the Housewives and Bravo out of her Instagram bio.
Rumor turned into reality on Friday the 13th. Dr. Nicole Martin announced she will not return for the 7th season of RHOM. The anesthesiologist explained that she’s suffered postpartum anxiety since welcoming her daughter, Genevieve, to the world five weeks earlier than expected. Nicole explained, I am “prioritizing my health and my family [which] is something I need to do at this moment.”
Andy entered the chat:
Bravo TV’s daddy (and real-life father of two) made sure that Nicole (and the Bravosphere) knew she would be welcomed back to the Miami Housewives if she wishes. Andy wrote, “We have been lucky to have you and will be again if (and hopefully when) you feel the time is right.”
In case you missed it:
“It all started about a week after giving birth when I found myself having an overwhelming sense of worry and fear out of nowhere. It felt like my mind was constantly on high alert, panicked and worrying endlessly about the health of my baby, myself, and my family.”
“This is a part of my life that I am learning to navigate, and it’s been an emotional rollercoaster. Given where I am right now, I have decided not to return to RHOM. It’s a step towards healing and finding balance, and I hope you can understand and support this choice.”
“Thank you for being a part of this journey with me.” And, thank you “for creating a space where I feel comfortable sharing these parts of my life. I hope that my openness can help others who might be struggling and encourage us all to support one another through our most challenging times.”
