Singer Jake Shears once had a “terrifying” experience with a ghost — but when he opened up about the encounter on Tuesday night’s (Oct. 8) episode of Watch What Happens Live, host Andy Cohen refused to believe he was completely sober during the ordeal.
The Scissor Sisters alum confirmed to Cohen and Real Housewives of New York City star Erin Lichy that he had a “ghostly presence visit his room multiple nights in a row hoping to have sex with him” while living in New Orleans.
“It was my first two nights in New Orleans,” he said, before explaining, “The first night it was playing with my left nipple. The second night it was humping — it straddled me [and] was humping my back.”
Cohen immediately wondered what kind of drugs Shears had taken at the time, but the musician insisted he “wasn’t on anything.”
But Cohen still wasn’t convinced. The talk show host continued to press Shears, asking, “Ketamine? Molly? Molly. Very much molly. Acid! LSD!”
While Shears vehemently denied using drugs, Cohen said he was going to “find out during the commercial break what he was on.”

When they returned from the break, Cohen turned to Shears and said, “I do think you were on copious mushrooms when that happened but that’s fine. I got it.” However, Shears once again shut down Cohen’s speculation.
There’s nothing quite like spooky season in the Bravo Clubhouse!
Watch What Happens Live airs Sunday through Thursdays at 10 p.m. ET on Bravo. New episodes are available to stream the next day on Peacock.
