Anderson Cooper and Andy Cohen are returning to CNN for its annual New Year’s Eve celebration.

This year will mark the eighth consecutive year the friends have co-hosted the event, leading the network’s global audience into the new year live from New York City’s Times Square. And this year, they will be drinking, the Watch What Happens Live host confirmed in October.

Cooper and Cohen will kick off their event at 8 p.m. ET with musical guests, including 50 Cent live from his Las Vegas residency, Sting, Meghan Trainor, Shania Twain, Diplo, Lil Jon, Mickey Guyton and Patti LaBelle. Comedians Whitney Cummings, Amy Sedaris, Sasheer Zamata, Ziwe, Adam Devine and more.

Other CNN reporters will be providing live coverage from different celebrations, including Key West, Florida; Atlantis, Paradise Island in the Bahamas; Prescott, Arizona; and from the Times Square crowds and in Madame Tussauds.

At 12:30 a.m. ET, CNN’s Sara Sidner, Harry Enten and Cari Champion will take over the celebration, counting down to the new year as the Central Time Zone rings in 2025 from Austin, Texas.

CNN’s New Year’s Eve Live with Anderson Cooper and Andy Cohen will stream live on Max for subscribers and on CNN.com, CNN connected TV and mobile apps for pay TV subscribers.
