We love a good fourth wall break — and Amanda Batula just gave us one.
Appearing on the Trading Secrets podcast, the Summer House star peeled back the Bravo curtain and spilled some behind-the-scenes tea — including how much she made in her first season.
Spoiler: it was around $25,000.
Outside of the show, Amanda held down a 5-year marketing career and has since built a portfolio that includes brand partnerships, her role as creative director for LoverBoy, and her latest project — Amanda Batula Swim.
But don’t expect her to cash in just for a check. Amanda revealed she once turned down a six-figure deal because the brand didn’t align with her values.
“It didn’t feel authentic. It wasn’t something I used or would use… If it’s not a product I can truly see myself incorporating into my lifestyle, I’m not going to do it.”
She’s keeping it real, even when it comes to brand deals:
“Even though I’m doing these brand deals and selling stuff, I’m not going to sell you something that I don’t use.”
As for her personal life? Amanda also shared that she and Kyle Cooke did not sign a prenup before tying the knot.
“I messed up major,” she admitted.
“I don’t know if it was the movies we watched growing up or the tabloids, but prenup had such a negative connotation.”
Now, Amanda encourages everyone — especially women — to protect their assets.
“Everyone should get a prenup. Hear it from the girl that didn’t get one.”
