MINNESOTA Vikings star running back Aaron Jones has shared an encouraging update about his health.
Jones was carted off during the Vikings' game on Sunday with an injury.
Jones' injury drew immediate concern, as any player getting carted off the field is assumed to have sustained a serious injury.
However, that appears not to be the case as Jones explained himself why he was put on the cart.
"The only reason I got carted off was because the X-ray machine was on the whole other side of the stadium," he told Kay Adams.
"If it wasn't for that I wouldn't have been carted off."
Adams couldn't believe that Jones was okay, sharing that she thought the worst of it.
"When you have to be helped off the field I'm used to it being the most dire moment," she said.
"That clearly wasn't the case for you, it was a far X-ray machine!"
Jones received chest X-rays after being carted off the field, but they came back clear.
He suffered a nasty hit after being crunched between Trevon Walker and Foye Oloukon.
The running back reportedly just needed to compose himself after the hit, and was later able to return to the game.

Jones not having a serious injury is extremely good news for the Vikings as he is one of their best players this season.
He has 653 rushing yards and 258 receiving yards this season, with three total touchdowns.
Jones is expected to be limited in practice this week, but all signs point to him starting next week against the Tennessee Titans.
Vikings fans were thrilled to hear this and shared their excitement on social media.
"Sounds like Jones is going to be okay," one fan said.
