Micah Parsons has some flair that led him to earn a podcast deal with Bleacher Report. That flair is also the reason why reporters usually wait after Dallas Cowboys games to get some sound bites from him. However, some of his recent comments did not sit well with Hall of Famer Shannon Sharpe.
The pass rusher first took to his podcast The Edge with Micah Parsons to suggest Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow was the best QB in the league. This was him backing up his earlier comments where he claimed Burrow was the MVP this season.
Those comments were appreciated by the Bengals quarterback who felt Parsons was showing respect, which meant a lot to him. First Take interim host Shae Cornette asked Shannon Sharpe about Parsons’ comments. To this, he decided to talk straight to the Cowboys superstar.
The three-time Super Bowl champion suggested that Micah Parsons should stop talking. Especially when it’s about other teams and their players and instead focus on what is wrong with his squad. The Dallas Cowboys have not played well and have made opposing quarterbacks look good against them.
Shannon Sharpe fires again at Micah Parsons for horrible take on Cowboys blowout loss
In Shannon Sharpe’s rant, he mentioned the name Tanner McKee. The third string Philadelphia Eagles QB had a brilliant outing against the Dallas Cowboys that went on to prove Sharpe’s point. When host Cornette asked the Hall of Famer about Micah Parson’s post-game comments disregarding that performance, he said.
The 56-year-old was ticked off by Micah Parson’s comments about the scoreboard not showing the true story of their loss to the Eagles. When the Cowboys pass rusher said those words even fans could not believe what they heard.
Sharpe believes Parsons is talking too much for someone who and his teammates have been below average for quite some time. Now that their season is about to end soon, Sharpe feels the pass rusher has all the time in the world to continue talking.
