Wynne was suspended from his BBC Wales show in January amid accusations he used inappropriate language to pro dancer Janette Manrara - and has now reportedly been axed from his lucrative GoCompare advert deal.

Now, the star has shared two cryptic posts about the "truth" to his Instagram page as he prepares for a sit-down with BBC bosses.

Taking to social media this morning, Wynne shared a close-up grinning selfie as he went about his morning routine.

He shared how he had enjoyed a "bike read" before adding: "Next its cold water therapry."

Wynne then opted to add a hashtag which read "Truth will out" despite it appearing to have no connection to the other messages in his post.

Just a few hours later, Wynne made reference to the truth once more.

The opera singer shared a comment from a fan which read: "We all miss you."

Wynne then replied with: "I miss you all very very much 'TruthWins #Wynners."

The Sun had previously revealed how Wynne had hired a top-class lawyer to help clear his name amid the scandal.

Evans dismissed his comments on the Strictly tour as an “in-joke” that tour colleagues were in on, and has hired a lawyers to clear his name.

A source said: “As far as Wynne is concerned, he has been wronged.

“He understands the language he used was not appropriate but it’s all been taken so out of context.

“Wynne has got a legal team in his corner and he has a 30-odd page dossier which he thinks will help his case.

“He absolutely loves his job on BBC Radio Wales and having to step back from it in the wake of his [Strictly] dismissal was heartbreaking.”

The talks were due to take place last month, but Wynne — also star of the Go Compare adverts — pushed them back after struggling with his mental health.

Before his tour antics, Wynne courted controversy after he could be seen placing his hand around dance partner Katya Jones' waist.

Katya appeared to forcibly move his hand as she pulled an awkward face.

Eagle-eyed viewers later pointed out that there appeared to be tension between the dancing couple.

Katya and Wynne later clarified that it was an "in-joke" between them both.
