Wynne Evans gets warm hugs from his Strictly pals as he prepares for show's live tour days after the death of his older brother Huw - suong

   

Wynne Evans received the support of his Strictly Come Dancing friends as he posed for snaps at the live tour photocall on Thursday.

The Strictly favourite, 52, looked in good spirits as at the photocall, a week after he revealed that his older brother Huw had tragically passed away.

Showing off his moves with his dance partner Katya Jones, Wynne beamed for the camera.

He was also seen sharing a warm hug with Love Island star Tasha Ghouri before posing for a glam group shot with the full cast.Last week Wynne posted a heartbreaking tribute to his 'gorgeous' brother on social media, sharing  a slew of images on Instagram.

He wrote: 'I’m so sad to say that my gorgeous eldest brother has passed away. My big brother was my hero and my inspiration.

'Huw my darling I will miss you so much and am so glad I got to have you with me all my life.'

His brother Huw, who was a barrister, was the oldest of three boys from Carmarthen, South Wales.

The Welsh Opera singer also has an older brother Mark, who he previously hosted a show with called Sibling Rivalry.

Wynne's post was flooded with condolences from his close friends and celebrity pals, with Amy Dowden writing: 'Sending you so much love Wynne ❤️'.

Danielle Harold penned: 'Sending you lots of love ❤️'

Opening up on his childhood previously, Wynne told The Times: 'I was the youngest of three boys: one brother is a barrister and the other an opera singer.

'My father, David, was a council building inspector, and my half-Belgian mother, Elizabeth, was a hairdresser before she turned campaigner to save a local theatre.

'We lived in an end-of-terrace Victorian house with an outside loo. I didn’t go on a plane until I was 24.'

Wynne and Katya Jones became the eighth couple to leave the competition last year.

The celebrity contestants who appeared on this year's 20th anniversary series of the competition will take the show around the country from January 17 to February 9.

Joining them will be Strictly Judges Shirley Ballas, Anton Du Beke, Craig Revel Horwood will also take part and for the first time on the tour, Motsi Mabuse.

Meanwhile It Takes Two’s Janette Manrara will returning to host the tour once again.
