Kyle Richards' friendship with Lisa Vanderpump came to a dramatic end on Season 9 of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, and it turns out that she doesn't think they'll be reconciling any time soon.

During a December 17 Amazon Live stream, the mom of four addressed Lisa's recent comments that she would only make amends with Kyle if she got an apology first. 

"LVP said that it would have to start with an apology and — by the way — nobody's asking to, sorry," Kyle said on the livestream. "So, don't hold your breath. Happy holidays."

While appearing on Access Hollywood’s Housewives Nightcap podcast back in December 2024, Lisa opened up about a recent run-in with Kyle (which took place when she was with her husband, Ken Todd).

"I think when you talk about the opposite of love and they say that it’s hate, and it’s not. It’s kind of indifference,” Lisa said about how she feels about Kyle years after their falling-out. “I’m just like, 'Hey, hi, how are you?'"

The Vanderpump Rules matriarch then explained what it would take for them to get back to a better place, which is the comment Kyle referred to on her Amazon Live. 

"It needs to start with an apology to ever reconcile because you can’t ever pick up a friendship when somebody’s calling you a liar," the restaurateur said. "That doesn’t work for me, at all.”

In a November Amazon Live stream, Kyle revealed that she had just seen Lisa and Ken out one night. 

"I did see her recently, actually," Kyle said. "And I said, 'Hi,' and she was with Ken. This was not that long ago, maybe a month ago or so, and she was actually friendly."

She added, "Ken's always — he gives a kiss or whatever, she's a little colder but it was [an] interesting encounter. Anyway, it was not bad, [it] did not go badly, I will say that."

At the time, Kyle added that she would be open to giving their friendship another chance — sans apology.

"Well, I know I'm always open to something like that," Kyle explained on Amazon Live. "But, Lisa... I mean, I'm not gonna say she's stubborn, but Lisa can be very stubborn... If we were both like me, we would have made up already, but she's not open like that. She does — I've said it before — she's someone who holds a grudge, so I could also hold a grudge about things but I don't. I choose to let that go, so I don't know."
