Will Lindsay Hubbard Return to Summer House with a Baby? “I Know That Executives…”-quang

On Bravo's Hot Mic Podcast with Alex Baskin, Lindsay Hubbard broke down her thoughts on filming with a baby.

Inquiring minds want to know if Summer House’s Lindsay Hubbard will ultimately return to the show with a baby. Now, just days after announcing the birth of her first child, Gemma Britt Kufe, Bravo fans are getting some long-awaited answers.

News of Lindsay expecting a baby with her boyfriend — who has remained fiercely private — broke when Lindsay confirmed it on July 4, 2024, less than a year after she and ex-fiancé Carl Radke called it quits. Lindsay reflected on her pregnancy and looked ahead to the future for Season 3, Episode 4 of Bravo’s Hot Mic Podcast with producer Alex Baskin.

While much of the conversation was about filming Summer House Season 9, Baskin wondered if she would come back to reality TV after having a child.

“I get asked this question more so than anything,” Lindsay admitted.

Will Lindsay Hubbard return to Summer House after having a baby?

Lindsay got down to brass tacks when she gave Baskin a simple response: “I don’t know.”

“It’s kind of similar like last year, around this time, everyone’s like, ‘What’s it gonna be like with you and Carl in the same house? Are you gonna film with him? Are you not gonna film with him?’” said Lindsay.

Only time would tell what next summer could bring, she explained, but she added she is in talks with the Bravo team.

“I know that executives and I are trying to figure it out, and I think it’s pretty clear that, obviously by next summer, my daughter will be 7 [or] 8 months old,” she said. “I’m not gonna bring my 8-month-old daughter to the summer house every weekend, to a party house.”

The mom-to-be, however, told Baskin that the then-unborn baby certainly felt like “a party girl” based on her nighttime activity and inability to sit still in the womb.

“She definitely parties at night,” Lindsay joked.

Will Lindsay Hubbard's baby appear on Summer House?

Lindsay admitted it's unclear if she'll film anything with her daughter for Summer House. But, she said, just because the baby may not appear at the actual summer house, it doesn’t mean cameras couldn't find mother and daughter together elsewhere on the show, she explained on the podcast.

“I would say it’s something that we are all trying to figure out,” Lindsay maintained.

It wouldn’t be the first time Summer House producers filmed in Manhattan — where much of the cast lives when not partying it up in the Hamptons for the weekend — especially in the past two seasons, according to Lindsay.

“So, at [a] very minimum, we can film me in my life in the city if I’m not physically living at the house every weekend,” she continued. “But, being a Hamptons girl, I’ll be in the Hamptons as well.”

Still, she and producers haven’t had “formal conversations” about where they could be filmed, and it’s still “an ongoing discussion.”

“I think we’re still trying to finish this story of this season, which ends with me having a baby,” Lindsay teased. “So, I think that’s the priority at the moment, and trying to understand in what capacity we close this chapter for this season, which ultimately ends with me giving birth … I think we’re trying to get there, and then as soon as that happens, ‘OK, now let’s focus on next year.’”

Baskin was confident she’d figure it out.

In the meantime, the host of Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen and more of Lindsay’s castmates continue congratulating the new mom and the birth of her daughter.
