It seems like The Real Housewives of New Jersey fans have been waiting forever to hear about Season 15. Of course, we all know that Season 14 was so divisive and vicious that the reunion was scrapped. With the cast divided into two factions, it only makes sense that RHONJ needs some fresh faces. Or maybe a total reboot. Well, Melissa Gorga is here to speed the process along.
Melissa Gorga wants to know where the RHONJ cast stand
Let’s face it. When Bravo announced its line-up of new and returning shows, it was a shock that RHONJ and The Real Housewives of New York were missing from the list. Both shows are paused while Bravo debates what to do with casting.
Well, Melissa decided to come to Bravo’s rescue by sharing a casting flyer on her Instagram Story. Bravosnarkside also posted the flyer via Instagram. And she broke down her reasoning on her podcast, On Display with Melissa Gorga.
“In my DMs, people were kind of shocked that I reposted the flyer that they’re looking for their casting for The Real Housewives of New Jersey,” Melissa said. The boutique owner added that she was “sick” of hearing that Bravo was “searching for more people” to cast on RHONJ.
“Like, let me help you. Because, like, I think I have the biggest platform to help y’all. Because whatever everyone’s doing is just taking too long,” Melissa explained. “So, I’m like, ‘What?’ I’m like, ‘We’re in Jersey, you can’t find Italian families in Jersey? Like sisters, cousins, uncles?’”
She added, “So maybe I’m just going to cast to today here on my podcast. I do believe they’re looking for like, you know, energetic, outgoing women with big families. And you know, they don’t necessarily have to be Italian.”
Melissa continued, “Listen, guys, this might be getting me to lose my job for all I know. But at this point, I don’t even care. I’m just like, make a decision already, cast the damn show, let us know who’s in and who’s out so we can keep it moving,” Melissa added. In her opinion, she believes that Bravo will pick a “hybrid” cast for RHONJ. Bring back some familiar faces, and add some new ones. However, only time will tell what Bravo has in store for Jersey.
