Lisa Vanderpump is very excited about the new chapter of Vanderpump Rules. It was announced in November 2024 that VPR would return for Season 12 with a brand new cast of SUR-vers, working at SUR and TomTom, with Lisa at the helm of it all (more on that below). And she is already teasing what's to come.
Lisa spoke on her expectations for the new season and guaranteed that it will be filled with plenty of drama, given the show takes place in Los Angeles.
"When you have a restaurant, especially in Hollywood, with a revolving door of beautiful people who are all kinds of normally rather large personalities because they come to Hollywood for a reason, it's always complicated," she told Us Weekly recently. "I am sure it's gonna be very different with these young minxes when they get to work, but we shall see. I got some very interesting characters for sure, but SUR has been around for a very long time, and as I say, it's a show we could have shot 12 months of the year."
Lisa briefly spoke with TMZ on Feb. 6, where she revealed she's sure the new season will not let viewers down: "I'm not going to disappoint, that's all I can tell you," she briefly said.

It was announced last November that VPR would be returning for Season 12 with a brand new batch of "close-knit SUR-vers who are as complicatedly involved with one another as their iconic predecessors." "Under Lisa Vanderpump's watchful eye, the West Hollywood mainstay SUR — and now TomTom — welcomes the next batch of servers, hosts, and bartenders rife with plenty of drama, situationships, and frenemies," the announcement stated.
Lisa herself weighed in on the news at the time, noting that she was excited for the "next generation" of the show. "The last 12 years of filming have been an extraordinary run full of laughter, tears, and everything in between," she said. "I can't thank enough those who have shared their lives. How I love you all. In the restaurant business, one shift always gives way to another. Cheers to the next generation of Vanderpump Rules."
VPR executive producer, Alex Baskin, added, "What a thrill it is to build on the legacy of this series by doing it all over again. With profound appreciation for the original group and their iconic run, we can't wait for the audience to see a dynamic group of co-workers and friends make their way through life together."
