"Why Carl Radke and Lindsay Hubbard’s Highly Anticipated Return to Summer House Promises an Epic Season Ahead"-quang

Summer House Season 8 just ended. And to be honest, I am still reeling from all the grenades going off left and right. I’m not just talking about West Wilson’s end-of-the-world apocalypse party, either. The entirety of the last season circled around Carl Radke and Lindsay Hubbard’s sham of a relationship. The PR guru delusionaly thought walking down an aisle would make them happy. And Carl thought a hug would fix his lack of a job.

This week, fans learned the entire cast except Danielle Olivera, had signed back on. This included the almost bride and groom. Needless to say, I can hardly contain my excitement for Season 9 because no matter what, we are getting an activated Lindsay. The girls left the house a united front but the reunion painted a different picture. I need Andy Cohen and a camera stat so I can be kept in the loop.

Lindsay Hubbard is taken…

Lindsay is currently thriving in her new relationship since Carl dumped/blindsided her. Thanks to the return of both OGs, this means Carl will undoubtedly have to watch Lindsay and her new beau interact in the shared summer rental. I can only presume this means watching them sweet talk and make out. But please don’t let it be like the time she flirted with Austen Kroll. My tummy can’t take it.

During the Summer House Season 8 reunion, the Hubb House owner noted that her new man was “so sweet” and “incredible.” At the time, Lindsay also shared backstage that she was “very satisfied in the bedroom.” While on the Bitch Bible podcast, Lindsay made a clear dig at Carl as she gushed that her New York boyfriend “works very hard, and he’s extremely driven and ambitious.”

Needless to say, I predict we will see Carl calling his mom, Sharon, for advice and weeping in the corner. As far as anyone can tell, Carl is still very much on the market. But that doesn’t surprise me. No woman in their right mind is going after a guy who called off not one but two engagements.

How are Kyle and Lindsay?

Lindsay Hubbard on Summer House Season 8.

When I heard that Lindsay was returning, my first real question was how she and Kyle Cooke would navigate the aftermath of the reunion fight. The tell-all was pretty ugly, as the Loverboy founder couldn’t seem to bite his tongue when it came to the blonde vixen. Kyle and Lindsay have always had a rocky friendship ever since Season 1. But I genuinely thought they were friends. However, Kyle didn’t hold back when it came to the reunion, leaving me to think Season 7 could provide another blow-up scene.

During Season 6 Kyle shared, “I love Lindsay to death, but my biggest issue as a friend for years is just that she never takes accountability, responsibility. She never owns up.” Kyle has made it clear he handles Lindsay a certain way, and it is not by making her a sandwich. The OG noted, “Like the way I deal with her is I just kind of — you either fall on the sword and be like, ‘Yeah, you’re right,’ or you just don’t deal. That’s worked for me, but it doesn’t work if you’re in your shoes.”

Is love in the air for Carl Radke and Lindsay Hubbard?

Summer House stars Carl Radke and Lindsay Hubbard at a party in Season 8.

Will fans be blindsided by reconnection, love connection? Doubtful, but the scenario is fun to dream up. I mean, imagine the story! However, word on the curb was that even though Danielle wasn’t coming back, she and Carl might have reignited their flames of passion. The duo dated first before Lindsay was even a thought. Honestly, Carl and Danielle seemed to really be a good energy fit. But this was during the same time Carl was still a f*ckboy, so naturally, it didn’t work.

Lindsay’s pregnancy could change things

Now that Lindsay has announced her pregnancy with filming right around the corner, we might actually get a tamer season for her and Carl than anticipated. He doesn’t seem the type to want to be engaged in a feud with his ex, even before this news broke. Now that she’ll be carrying a child, she will need as little stress in her life as possible. It might even be for the best if she films this season in a guest role, rather than full-time.
