Who really needs the £50k? The staggering pre‑villa pay cheques of the Love Island 2025 cast laid bare — from a £25k payroll worker and £40k cabin crew to a £300k semi‑pro footballer already earning more in a week than the show’s jackpot - suong

It’s that time of year, where the final of Love Island is coming around, so everyone is talking about the prize fund. Then, the Islanders will have to return to real life, and for some of them, their jobs. God forbid! But for some, they might want to seriously consider packing in the day job for a life of being an influencer, as the wages they were earning before Love Island 2025 were quite impressive.

Here’s a breakdown of the jobs the Love Island 2025 cast had before the show, and the average wages these positions hold.

Meg – £25k

Love Island 2025

via ITV

Meg is from Southampton, and her pre villa job was as a payroll specialist. The estimated salary for a payroll specialist is £25,423 per year in the Southampton area, as per Glassdoor. Meg will most likely sack this in for a life of influencing and brand deals after the show, mind you.

Angel – £35k

via ITV

Angel is from Maidstone, where she works as an aesthetics practitioner and salon owner. Where she works might be a reason behind why she’s had such a huge glow up before the show.

Cach – £35k

via ITV

If you’ve taken one look at Cach’s TikTok, you won’t be surprised to find out he’s a professional dancer. The average salary for a dancer in London is around £34,850 per year, but it can range to over £40k, depending on experience.

Yasmin – £37k

Shakira works in marketing, with an average salary of £40k a year. But on top of this, you can pay her to come to a party, dressed as a Disney princess. Since she’s been in the villa, old photos of her at her side hustle have been shared around. She looks adorable!

Helena is also estimated to be earning around £40k from her job before the show. Helena is cabin crew, based in London.

Toni – £50k ($66k)

via ITV

Toni worked as a pool cabana server in Vegas before the show, which has a decent salary of an estimated $66k per year. She may also earn a lot in tips, if she’s got big money clients in. The Tab found the boujie bar Toni worked in, at it’s hosted the likes of David Guetta, and costs $15k to rent a cabana for the day.

Conor – £50k

Love Island 2025

via ITV

Conor is pro rugby player in Ireland, which could be earning him around £50k per year. Ahead of the show, he said he met previous Love Island winner Greg O’Shea through rugby, and he gave him some secret advice for the villa. Cheeky!

Megan £55k

via ITV

Megan is from Dublin, but lives and works in Brighton. As well as being a panto girlie, she also works as an energy broker, which according to Checkasalary, has an average yearly income of £55k.

Harry – £300k

Love Island 2025

via ITV

No, you didn’t read that wrong. Harry is a semi pro footballer, which in the UK, comes with an average salary of £7k per week. What’s more, his football team have also hinted that’s a pretty accurate figure for how much Harry earns. “Seven grand a week goes on Cooksley, the others play for nothing,” his manager said in one TikTok. That would earn him a staggering £300k a year.
