Dean Smith became the fifth person to leave Big Brother on Friday night - but got stuck in the house due to a huge technical issue.
Tense scenes saw the 35-year-old barber from East London say his goodbyes after hosts AJ Odudu and Will Best revealed his time was up.
However, when he got to the front door to leave, he was surprised to find that it wouldn't open, and AJ and Will were forced to leave the crowd waiting and cut straight to Late and Live.
'Your door's not working, if you don't want me to leave that's fine,' he joked, while the hosts explained there had been an unprecedented issue with the house.
Eventually, Dean did make it out through the garden and got a live eviction exit, which was aired on Late and Live, before he joined AJ and Will on the sofa.

AJ laughed as she admitted: 'It is live television, certainly anything can happen'.
Marcello, Lily and Hanah survived the public vote and made it through to another week.
'I knew it, I knew it, I told you' repeated Dean, as he found out that he was the fifth housemate to leave, adding: 'I knew it was me, that's okay.'
To fill the time while producers tried to get Dean out, AJ and Will cut to the house live, which caused more confusion for viewers.
During the segment, fans heard a female Big Brother voice speak to the housemates and tell them go inside.
Then, the contestants in the garden seemed to see a familiar face as they all started shouting for someone called James.
Fans rushed to X to reflect on the chaotic scenes they had just witnessed, writing:
'The door breaking. The garden eviction. The producer voice. The awkwardly long time to get Dean onto the outdoor set (*cut for time*). Will going to find Dean. Hang it in the Louvre #BBUK#BBLL'

It came as the second departure of the week, after Martha Church became the fourth housemate to get the boot in a 'brutal' back door eviction on Wednesday.
Earlier in the programme, the housemates had to deliver their nominations face to face, instead of in the diary room to Big Brother.
For this week's shopping task, they had been divided into two teams - villagers and vampires, with only one group able to win the luxury budget by the end.

Meanwhile, Marcello, Lily and Hanah survived the public vote and made it through to another week
It was announced during Friday's live show that the vampires had won, with Big Brother revealing the shock twist that only vampires are able to nominate.
After they stood up one by one to nominate two people each, it was revealed that Nathan, Lily, Marcello, and Hanah had the most votes.
Lily had three nominations, and Hanah, Marcello and Nathan each had two.
However, as Head of House, Emma had the power to either deliver a killer nomination, or save one housemate and replace them with someone else.
She chose to save Nathan from the public vote and instead put Dean up for eviction.
In a quick turnaround, viewers were then given a short time slot to cast their vote for who they wanted to evict.
The second Halloween Week eviction comes after the house descended into drama on Thursday night's show, with housemates getting into heated arguments over vapes and shock 'nasty' comments in the Halloween task.
Chaotic scenes saw Dean let rip on the other contestants, firing that Marcello is 'everything he hates in a person' and he would 'never speak to Sarah' on the outside world.

The episode saw the teams compete in a series of challenges and even be kept in separate rooms, with the vampires having to ask for permission from the villagers to be able to get tot he garden to smoke or vape.
Tensions reached boiling point in a head to head challenge between Dean and Nathan, which tasked them with asking difficult questions with honesty.
Dean was asked: 'Who will you never speak to again after you leave the house?'
With little hesitation, he quipped: 'I'm gonna say Sarah. Sometimes when she speaks it f****** winds me up.
'I don't think we'd get on outside, we don't have anything in common and anyone that wears shoes like that - we cannot be friends'.
Then, when he was quizzed on who he thinks manipulated people in the house, Marcello was next in the firing line.
'I am gonna say Marcello,' said Dean, 'He is everything I hate in a person on the outside. He is a very masculine man which I don't vibe with.
'And I really feel like maybe, he's only cooking for people to manipulate them to be safe'.
Shocked, the housemates gasped as the drama unfolded, with Sarah sniping: 'Dean's out to make enemies today' and Marcello cooly responding: 'If you ask me a question about myself sometimes you'd be able to find out.'
The chaos only got worse when Sarah confronted Dean about his comments, as he told her: 'Sometimes when you talk I'm like f****** hell. I think sometimes your tone of voice for me is a bit like ugh, I don't enjoy it.

'We don't talk. I don't think we would get on on the outside. I think I talk to you sometimes in here because we're in the house. I don't think we'd be friends outside.
'I don't sit with you anyway and have conversations because I just know I wouldn't wanna talk to you on the outside world. It's as simple as that.'
Taken aback, Sarah replied: 'I just think that wasn't necessary. I know you had to say something but going personal was not necessary.'
Elsewhere in the intense installment of the ITV2 show, the two teams broke out into a furious argument when the villagers refused to left the vampires outside to smoke.
'Why the f*** will you not let us out for a smoke?' Emma shouted through the door, while Ali fired at Lily: 'I saved you last week!'
Losing patience, Emma ranted: 'It's not even got f*** all to do with the task. F****** w**** behaviour, f*** all of you. I'm not even f****** joking, what a load of w****** you are.'
Ali chimed in with: 'We've had no food, we're not even allowed to eat in there. This is unnecessary, it's not part of the task. It's unnecessary suffering.'
