Larsa Pippen is moving on!

On April 3, PEOPLE confirmed that The Real Housewives of Miami star has been dating former professional basketball player Jeff Coby.

Her new relationship comes on the heels of her split from her on-again-off-again ex-boyfriend Marcus Jordan. The former couple, first spotted together in fall 2022, went their separate ways in July 2024. Before Jordan, Pippen was famously married to NBA star Scottie Pippen from 1997 to 2021, followed by several high-profile relationships, including with Future and Tristan Thompson.

During a December 2024 episode of Going Rogue, Pippen opened up about why it is "hard" to date in the public eye, saying, "I feel like everyone will end up knowing my business."

"If you get to meet someone and you want to see if you even like them in that way, as soon as you’re seen out with that person, you were linked to that person forever," she explained. "So I definitely feel like I need to be more cautious going into a new relationship.”

So who is Larsa Pippen's new boyfriend? Here's everything to know about Jeff Coby and his relationship with the Bravo star.

He attended Columbia University

In 2017, Coby graduated from Columbia University and received his bachelor's degree in sociology and art history, per his LinkedIn.

During a conversation with Columbia's student newspaper The Blue and White magazine that February, the South Florida native opened up about how growing up in a household with "a lot of art" inspired his educational pursuits.

"It’s great to learn about different artists and artistic movements, because the art world is [constantly] evolving and welcoming new ideas," he said, adding that "a lot of the ideas have derived from early sociologists and thinkers."

Throughout his time at the Ivy League school, Coby was also a forward on the men's basketball team, allowing him to connect with other students on campus.

“A lot of people come here for academics but they played some kind of sport back in high school," he told The Blue and White magazine. "With athletics, there is always something to relate to and talk about, whether it’s the early mornings or the sore bodies, it brings people together."

Coby is a former professional basketball player

After graduating from Columbia, Coby spent a year competing in the Spanish basketball league and a summer playing with the Haitian national team, per the Columbia Daily Spectator.

“During that whole process, I just tried to learn good traits that could implement into my game,” Coby told the outlet. “Being a good teammate, learning the game—it really forced me to become a student of the game.”

In October 2018, he signed a free agent deal with the New York Knicks, per the Columbia athletics website.

According to his LinkedIn, Coby joined the Yamaguchi Pats Five (formerly Yamaguchi Patriots), a professional basketball team based in Tokyo, in 2022. However, per the roster, he doesn't appear to still be part of the team.

He wrote a memoir

In 2023, Coby released his first memoir, A Mindful Journey, which explores how meditation and self-development impacted his life on and off the court.

During a September 2023 interview with CBS News, the basketball player shared how mindfulness has helped him through many of his life's challenges, including when a coach chose to play another teammate.

"I had two options, sink or swim, self-destruct or dig deeper," Coby said. "I found this article from the Harvard Business Review and basically it talked about successful CEOs and leaders and how mindfulness and mediation play a big part in their success."

He added, "Although my external world was in shambles, I was feeling a lot more at peace with myself."

Coby also explained how his passion for mindfulness and love of basketball intersect, saying, "I really believe that [being grounded] can really enhance your game and take you to the next level because it literally did it for me."

He and Pippen been dating since early 2025

Although they have yet to go public with their romance, PEOPLE confirmed on April 2 that Pippen and Coby are dating.

According to TMZ, the couple have been seeing each other exclusively since early 2025. The outlet also reported that Pippen and Coby have tried to keep their romance within their inner circles.

Pippen previously described her “perfect man”

During the Going Rogue episode, Pippen got candid when her friend Michelle Pooch asked her to describe her "perfect man."

“OK, I’m building a man: I want a tall, cute, fun, handsome, smart, independent leader," she said. "Is that possible?"

Pippen continued, "I feel like the top three qualities in a guy that I'm really attracted to are probably like successful, smart and driven. ... I want to be with a guy that’s a boss ... that can lead me. I want to be led."

Pippen wants to keep her dating life more private than in the past

After having her past romances thrust into the spotlight, Pippen opened up to Page Six's Virtual Reali-Tea podcast in October 2024 about wanting to "lay low" — especially regarding her future relationships.

“I think from my last relationship, it was so public that I think in this chapter of my life, I want to keep certain things to myself and not be so overly open because it just didn’t work out well for me, my last situation," she said.

The TV personality added, "I think I want to get to know people, go on dates, and then once I figure it out, the vibe with the person, then maybe [I'll] be open to sharing."
