He didn't share too many details about his new relationship, but he did reveal that they met on Facebook, they've spent time with each other's families and that they began dating in March 2025.

Turner's new relationship marks the first serious one he's been in since getting divorced from Theresa Nist, who won the inaugural season of The Golden Bachelor. The couple split in April 2024, three months after tying the knot on TV.

She’s a retired teacher

Turner told TMZ in April 2025 that Lana, whose last name has not been revealed, is a retired teacher.

In addition to being a former educator, she is also the part-owner of a video production company, according to her new beau.

Turner didn't elaborate on what subjects or grade Lana taught, but he said that she grew up in a town in Indiana about 20 minutes away from him.

She met Turner on Facebook

Turner shared that Lana was the one to first make contact with him on Facebook.

He told TMZ that he initially ignored Lana's first message, but she got his attention with her second, when she explained that she was also an Indiana local.

Turner and Lana had their first date in March 2025

Turner became intrigued with Lana after chatting on Facebook, so they planned their first date.

He took her to a restaurant on their first date in March 2025, and they've been "basically inseparable since," as he told TMZ.

After his first date with Lana, Turner said he changed his mind about the concept of love at first sight.

Turner announced his new relationship on an April 2025 podcast episode

Turner was initially hesitant to share the identity of his new girlfriend, but began talking about his new relationship in April 2025.

During the April 15 episode of Joe Amabile and Serena Pitt's Bachelor Happy Hour podcast, Turner confirmed that he was in a new relationship and that it was "going well."

“I don't wanna say too much and jinx it,” he said at the time. “And I'm trying to respectfully get to a point where there's an acceptable amount of time from my divorce. Maybe that's an old-fashioned thought, you know, maybe it doesn't matter as much as I think it does, but to be respectful, I kind of want to slow roll this.”

Turner and Lana took their relationship to the next level by introducing each other to their families.

During the same podcast appearance, Turner revealed that his two daughters, Angie and Jenny, have met Lana. He's also met Lana's parents and her children.

“I think the fun part there is, she has daughters that I really relate to, and her daughter, she relates well to my daughters,” he told Amabile and Pitt. “So we've been around each other briefly, but it's been fun. It's been a very enjoyable encounter."

Lana is Turner's first serious girlfriend since his divorce from Nist.

Turner said on the Bachelor Happy Hour podcast that he prioritized telling Nist about his new relationship so that it wouldn't "be shocking news to her" when it became public.

Turner chose Nist as his winner on season 1 of The Golden Bachelor, and they tied the knot in a live, televised wedding special on Jan. 4, 2024.
