What Dallas Cowboys CB Trevon Diggs revealed as he chronicles past ACL rehab journey - suong

Trevon Diggs took to social media Monday to reveal an interesting fact about his rehab from a previous ACL tear.

“My ACL Rehab journey was very successful,” the Dallas Cowboys cornerback wrote Monday night on X/Twitter. “I ended up coming back to play 2 months sooner than I was suppose to.”

Diggs shared the piece of information while promoting a YouTube series that would document his recovery from an ACL injury sustained in 2023. The first episode of the series shows Diggs partaking in various recovery-based exercises with performance coach Myron Flowers.

The cornerback’s injury recovery has been a hot topic of discussion this offseason. Diggs is currently rehabbing from a knee surgery he had in January. The latest procedure was more complex than the previous ACL repair.

The January surgery was a chondral tissue graft that replaces damaged cartilage in joints with tissues.

Back in April, The Dallas Morning News’ Calvin Watkins reported that the Cowboys were frustrated with how Diggs handled some sessions of his ACL rehab process. It surprised team officials that Diggs left Dallas during his rehab work, but at the time, it wasn’t too concerning.

Diggs played 11 games in 2024 before suffering his latest knee injury.
