WENDY Williams’ $ 40,000-a-month luxury New York City senior living facility can now be revealed exclusively by The U.S. Sun.

The former Wendy Williams Show host, 60, has been living in a studio apartment in the upscale facility’s memory care unit for the past six months.

Wendy ‘s studio in a sleek Manhattan high-rise goes for an eye-watering $13,000 a month – and that’s before tacking on the memory-care upgrade.

Staying in the memory unit in the senior living facility is an additional $20,000 to $40,000 on top of her rent.

The U.S. Sun has chosen not to name the facility for privacy reasons.

The former queen of daytime TV has previously said in recent interviews that she’s living on the 5th floor and is not allowed to leave. She even allegedly needs a key to use the elevator.

Her unit houses seniors with Alzheimer’s disease or dementia, and the facility’s care staff has “the latest assessment tools,” the website boasts.

However, Wendy has claimed she hasn’t seen a doctor to assess her in the facility since she was moved there.

As The U.S. Sun exclusively reported last year, Wendy was diagnosed with Alcohol Related Brain Damage .

After The U.S. Sun’s report, the guardian said Wendy had been diagnosed with Frontotemporal Dementia.

The residence’s website brags of “unmatched luxury,” with amenities like a sky terrace, a fitness center with a yoga studio, a movie theater, and an on-site bakery.

Meanwhile, special services are provided to memory care residents, including an on-site salon that offers nail care, as well as haircuts and styling.

Additionally, personal keepsakes are placed outside each resident’s door to help them remember their room’s location.

The locked floor also has both indoor and outdoor areas for the residents to explore safely.

PETITION TO TERMINATE GUARDIANSHIP

As The U.S. Sun exclusively reported first, Wendy’s guardianship attorney was expected to file a petition this week that could potentially free the star from her very restrictive guardianship .

At the beginning of Wendy’s guardianship in March of 2022, the star had two personal court-appointed attorneys.

The former host told Power 105.1’s The Breakfast Club earlier this month that she fired her attorney, Linda Redlisky, because she allegedly failed to file paperwork to begin the process of terminating the guardianship.

Her remaining attorney has taken up the star’s request.

The petition seems at odds with the most recent filing on behalf of Wendy’s guardian, Sabrina Morrissey , in the dispute filed against Lifetime for the Where is Wendy Williams? docuseries .

Sabrina’s attorney in the Lifetime matter said they would re-evaluate the star to determine the extent of her guardianship, however, the filing ended on an ominous note.

Wendy Williams Alcohol-Related Brain Damage, Aphasia & Frontotemporal Dementia Diagnoses

By The U.S. Sun's Senior Reporter Jessica Finn, who has reported on Wendy Williams for the past seven years.

As The U.S. Sun exclusively reported, Wendy Williams was diagnosed with alcohol-related brain damage in 2019 during a rehab stint in Florida.

An insider explained that a brain scan was done as part of Wendy’s rehab stay in Delray Beach.

A neurologist sat down with the star, her son, and her then-husband, Kevin Hunter Sr .

“The doctor explained to them that Wendy was suffering from alcohol-related brain damage.

“They told her that her alcohol abuse had done permanent damage to the layers in her brain,” the insider said.

“She was warned then and there that if she continued to drink, the damage would only get worse.”

In that meeting, they gave Wendy a devastating prognosis.

The doctors at the rehab foretold of the eventual decline of Wendy’s cognitive abilities, which have become apparent to those who have come in contact with the star in recent years.

“They told her that if she kept drinking she would continue to grow more forgetful, that she wouldn’t remember people’s names, and eventually, she could forget who people even were,” the source said.

After a comment call was sent to Wendy’s team, they released a statement saying Wendy had been diagnosed with frontotemporal dementia and aphasia in 2023.

“The decision to share this news was difficult and made after careful consideration, not only to advocate for understanding and compassion for Wendy, but to raise awareness about aphasia and frontotemporal dementia and support the thousands of others facing similar circumstances,” the statement read.

“The Guardian has no interest in pursuing litigation in the extremely unlikely event that the new medical examination finds that W.W.H. somehow now has the mental capacity to direct the A&E matter.”

Two days after The U.S. Sun broke the news of the petition to terminate the guardianship, TMZ reported Wendy had signed off on it and that she is set to be evaluated by a doctor of her choosing next week.

WENDY BREAKS HER SILENCE

Wendy has broken her silence in several interviews now since vanishing from the public in March 2023.

She has slammed her guardian and begged for her freedom from the senior facility she is held in.

Wendy told The Breakfast Club: “I feel like I am in prison. I’m in this place where the people are in their 90s and their 80s and their 70s,” she continued.

She said she has been trapped in the guardianship system for three years.

During that interview, she burst into tears and accused her guardian of “emotional abuse.”

Wendy lost her wildly popular daytime talk show after a series of personal problems that saw her absent for the entirety of the final season in 2022.
