Minnesota Vikings wide receiver Justin Jefferson continued his outstanding NFL career with yet another excellent regular season in 2024.
Through 17 game appearances, the fifth-year WR reeled in 103 catches for 1,533 yards and 10 touchdowns — tying his career high for TD grabs. This impressive campaign came despite the arrival of a new quarterback, Sam Darnold.
Jefferson is being recognized for his stellar play. On Friday, the NFL announced the 2024 AP first-team All-Pro rosters.
Jefferson got the first-team nod for the second time in his career.
The Vikings took to social media to react to Jefferson's career accomplishment with a simple message.
"Best of the best," the team wrote on X.
Jefferson and the Vikings had a chance to clinch the NFC's No. 1 seed, but ultimately fell short in a Week 18 loss to the Detroit Lions. Now the No. 5 seed, Minnesota will face off against the No. 4 seed Los Angeles Rams in a wild-card matchup on Monday night.
This first-round playoff game was originally scheduled to take place at LA's SoFi Stadium, but the Southern California wildfires have forced the NFL to move the game to Arizona's State Farm Stadium.
If Jefferson and the Vikings beat the Rams on Monday night, they'll be primed for a rematch against the No. 1 seed Lions in the divisional round.
Monday's game will kickoff at 8 p.m. EST.
