Kyle Richards was involved in a heated argument with another woman on a sidewalk in Encino, California, on Wednesday.
In an incident that looked like it could have turned physical, the 56-year-old Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star was seen in a tense showdown with the unidentified woman as Teddi Mellencamp, 43, and her other friends attempted to keep the woman from making contact with Kyle.
TMZ obtained the video on April 10, sharing that the dispute was reportedly prompted by Kyle witnessing the woman acting aggressively with her two dogs.
After Kyle confronted the woman, she pulled off her scarf and threw it on the ground, heading for Kyle in an aggressive manner, although it was unclear if she was ready to start a fight.
As people began to gather around the women as they argued, Kyle filmed the dispute on her phone, further upsetting the woman, who appeared to try and charge her as Kyle shook her head and seemingly told her, “No.” Kyle then began pointing her finger at the woman as she attempted to close in on Kyle, all while pulling her dogs behind her.
When the woman became even more aggressive, Teddi, who is battling brain cancer, and Kyle’s other friends attempted to calm her down as Kyle backed up and blocked her body with that of her friends.
After a few minutes of tension, a security guard showed up, but the woman wasn’t deterred, continuing to get closer to Kyle as Kyle filmed her on her phone.
Although the woman eventually walked off and sat down with her dogs, then ventured across the street, away from Kyle and her friends, the ladies kept talking to her, seemingly expressing their disgust with the way she had treated her pets.
