Season nine of The Real Housewives of Potomac may have only just ended, but reports say the ladies are getting back to the drama sooner than most fans assumed.
Naturally, this means many are wondering who will fill out the cast given that Karen Huger won’t be available to film due to her prison sentence. Candiace Dillard-Bassett was recently seen out with some of the show’s cast, and viewers speculate that she could make her grand return to the series.
Regarding Candiace’s status with RHOP, she announced before season eight ended that she would not return for the following installment. Candiace was pregnant, and as everyone knows, reality television shows can be stressful, so she decided it was best to take a step back. She has since given birth to a healthy son.
It’s been a while since fans have seen Candiace with any of the ladies from RHOP. However, The Neighborhood Talk recently posted a video of the former cast member where she was a part of a watch party for the show. The interesting thing is that this watch party also included Mia Thornton, Jassi Rideaux, and Jacqueline Blake. Based on a post for the event, it seems that the ladies also took part in a panel discussion for part three of the RHOP reunion.
In the video itself, fans can see Candiace as she’s standing between Mia and Jacqueline. The clip is brief, but she appears to be wearing a black leather top, a black hat, and perhaps floral pants. They’re also dancing in the video.
The caption asked fans if they would like to see Candiace back on the show, and while some said they didn’t, the majority of the comments favored her return. This has been the sentiment throughout the season as many have missed her presence on the cast.
One person said, “Pleaseeeeee bring Candy Girl backkkk !!! She’s great for the show. Her shady confessionals are the best.” Someone else commented, “Please bring her back. Her punches don’t miss.”
As mentioned, the RHOP cameras are reported to be going up again near the end of March. Still, it’s important to note that it doesn’t seem this watch party had an official tie to Bravo.
