“Vanderpump Rules” is returning for Season 12 — with a brand new cast.
News broke on Tuesday that the entire cast of the Bravo show has been scrapped in favor of a “new group of close-knit SUR-vers.”
Lisa Vanderpump celebrated the change-up in a statement.
“The last 12 years of filming have been an extraordinary run full of laughter, tears and everything in between,” the “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” alum, 64, gushed. “I can’t thank enough those who have shared their lives.
“How I love you all,” she continued. “In the restaurant business, one shift always gives way to another. Cheers to the next generation of ‘Vanderpump Rules.’”
Executive producer Alex Baskin wrote that it isn “a thrill it is to build on the legacy of this series by doing it all over again.”

He added, “With profound appreciation for the original group and their iconic run, we can’t wait for the audience to see a dynamic new group of co-workers and friends make their way through life together.”
While the revamped series’ is set to begin production next year, the premiere date and cast have yet to be announced.
“Vanderpump Rules” premiered in January 2013 with Stassi Schroeder, Scheana Shay, Jax Taylor, Katie Maloney, Tom Sandoval, Kristen Doute and Tom Schwartz.
The show has gained and lost cast members in subsequent seasons, from Brittany Cartwright to Raquel Leviss.
Viewership peaked when Sandoval, 42, cheated on Madix, 39, with Leviss, 30, after nine years together.
Fallout from the controversy, dubbed “Scandoval,” played out on Season 10.
The following season starred Shay, Maloney, Sandoval and Schwartz and Madix, as well as Lala Kent, James Kennedy, Brock Davies and Ally Lewber.
The reunion revealed many divisions among cast members, with Kent, 34, admitting to “Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen” viewers last week that she hasn’t since spoken to Maloney, 37, and Madix.
Kent reacted to Tuesday’s shocking shake-up with an Instagram carousel, writing that she and her co-stars “rocked this bitch until the wheels fell off.”
Maloney, for her part, claimed on her Story that she “wouldn’t change a thing” after the “mixed bag” experience.
The reveal comes seven months after an insider told Page Six that production had been paused for the summer — which is when “Vanderpump Rules” typically films.
“Everyone needs a moment to decompress after two very rough, intense seasons,” the source said in April, with Andy Cohen later clarifying that this happened “all the time with the ‘Housewives.'”
Notably, Kent and Shay both made appearances on “The Valley” alongside former co-stars Taylor, Cartwright and Doute when it premiered earlier this year.
We exclusively reported in May that Kent was in “early talks” to join the show.
