Why did Danielle Olivera leave Summer House?
In her Summer House exit announcement statement, Danielle shared that she didn't feel like she could throw herself fully into filming.
"I wanted to share that I've come to the heartbreaking decision to not return as a full-time cast member on the upcoming season of Summer House," she wrote. "Obviously this decision didn't come without a tremendous amount of thought. Ultimately, I just need trust my gut. If I can’t put 100% of myself into filming, genuinely and authentically, it really doesn’t feel right doing it in a full time capacity. The network, production, my cast, and especially all of you deserve that."
She continued, "Right now I need to protect and prioritize the things that matter most to me — my company, my people, and of course myself."
Danielle went on to thank NBCUniversal, Bravo, and Summer House's production company, Truly Original, for being able to "understand and support whatever decision [she] chose to reach."
She also reminded fans that she took a "step back" during Summer House Season 4 "and it ended up working out better than [she] imagined."
"However I'm involved this summer," Danielle concluded, "you can bet I'll be rooting for another incredible season from my Summer House fam."
