Congrats are in order!
Bachelor Nation fans first met Tyler Norris on Season 19 of “The Bachelorette,” and he went on to appear on Seasons 8 and 9 of “Bachelor in Paradise.”
While Tyler didn’t end up finding his forever love on-screen, he did find it off-screen with girlfriend Alyssa Sheridan, who appeared on the singing competition show “The Voice.”
The two have been going strong since launching their relationship in 2023 and just announced they’ve taken the next step.
Tyler took to Instagram this week to share the exciting news that he and Alyssa are officially engaged!

The Bachelor Nation star shared snapshots of the sweet proposal, including a video of the moment he got down on one knee and popped the question.
In the video, Tyler tells Alyssa, “I love you so much and I can’t explain to you how much I love you. I said a prayer years ago and I said, ‘God, please put somebody in my life that’s gonna be with me forever.’ If I had known then that person was gonna be across the country, I would’ve left way earlier. I spent 26 years of my life without you in it, and I don’t think I could go another day without you in it. So Lyss, I wanna ask you. Will you marry me?”
Tyler also shared pictures of the moment Alyssa said yes and the stunning engagement photos they took afterward.
He then expressed more about his feelings for his new fiancée and how special the proposal was in his caption.

Tyler wrote, “Well I’ve been dreaming of this day since the day I met you. You’re everything I could have ever asked for and more. How I got so lucky to meet you still doesn’t make sense to me. I love you more than I can explain Lyss, now let’s do this damn thing future Mrs. Norris! - Your Fiancé”
