The New York Rangers are set to lose Alex Belzile, and Dylan Garand soon. Yesterday they were selected to represent the Wolfpack at the AHL All-Star Game.Dylan Garand, Alex Belzile Named to 2025 AHL All-Star Classic

The AHL All-Star Game will take place on February 2-3 in Coachella Valley, and Alex Belzile and Dylan Garand will represent the Hartford Wolfpack for the Atlantic Division during the game.

Dylan Garand has had a career-year with the Wolfpack, posting a 10-4-2 record, with a 2.17 GAA, and a .929 save percentage.

His ten wins are tied for seventh in the AHL, with his 2.17 GAA and .929 SV% good for eighth and sixth, respectively.

Garand made Wolf Pack history this season by posting shutouts in back-to-back games. The 2020 4th-round pick blanked the Rockford IceHogs on December 6th, then shut out the Hershey Bears on December 11th

Belzile has scored 31 points(11 G, 20 A) in 29 games this season, following a career year with the team a year prior posting 50 points.

Garand has earned acclaim as he's positioned himself in the AHL, as a consistent goalie and Wolfpack Head Coach Grant Potulny expands on the prospect's year.

"He's been really consistent all year. Dylan prepares for the moment. He doesn't rise to it, he prepares for it, and it's great to see him get rewarded," Wolf Pack head coach Grant Potulny told me after Garand's second shutout on December 11th.

Garand is the 2nd Rangers prospect to be named to the AHL All-Star Game since Igor Shesterkin in 2020.

While Belzile has been on a tear this season, posting multiple hat-tricks this season.

Belzile, meanwhile, has recorded ten goals and 21 assists on the campaign. He leads the Wolf Pack in assists, points (31), and plus/minus (+7), while his ten goals only trail linemate Bo Groulx, who has 11. Leaguewide, Belzile's 31 points are tied for eighth in the AHL, with his 21 assists tied for sixth.

The Wolfpack forward has posted multiple hat-tricks this season, only joined by Iowa's Brendan Gaunce and Chicago's Scott Morrow.

The Rangers will be well-represented in the AHL All-Star Game this season.
