Tristan Thompson’s Child Support Amount is Revealed as He Forks Over $224K in Back Child Support to Ex Jordan Craig, Plus He Takes Out $1 Million Loan

Tristan Thompson has been the butt of several jokes. Of course, some stem from his horrible treatment of his ex, Khloe Kardashian, but others are due to him being labeled a deadbeat dad. Recently, the NBA star was ordered to pay a massive amount in back child support to Jordan Craig, with whom he has one son. Although, it seems he had to take out a loan to do it.

Fans will recall that Khloe was first linked to Tristan in 2016. The two made things publically official in September of that year. However, he and Jordan welcomed a son in December of that year, which means there was a bit of overlap. Since then, he and Khloe have had an on-and-off relationship, but they’ve been off for a while now. Of course, he has four kids in total.

As of 2023, Tristan owed Jordan a reported sum of $224,000 in back child support. Now, the US Sun has learned that the debt has been paid off. The report says that this was officially the case as of August 1st of this year. Notably, this judgment for child support was first brought about in 2019, and it listed Tristan’s address as being in Hidden Hills.

Apparently, Tristan stopped paying the full court-ordered child support in November of 2022. Apparently, he had only been paying about half of the required $40,000 monthly support for the child. Jordan also alleges that the payments were only $14,000 from February to August of 2023. However, there was one payment that came out to be $29,000. This prompted Jordan to request that the court withhold his monthly salary until the debt was satisfied.

Jordan said in court, “It is my belief that Tristan signed a ‘veteran’s minimum’ contract with the Cavaliers that pays him $2.7 million per year. The $80,000 request is certainly less than half of his monthly salary.”

However, that’s not all. The outlet also learned that Tristan took out a $1 million loan on his latest home. He has until October of next year to pay back the large sum of cash.

And despite having four children, Tristan has yet to be photographed with his son from Maralee Nichols, which has further fueled backlash against him being an alleged deadbeat dad. A TMZ report from 2022 states that Tristan agreed to pay $9,500 each month to Maralee to support their son.
