The Philadelphia Eagles destroyed the Kansas City Chiefs in Super Bowl LIX on Sunday night, winning 40-22 in a blowout that was far more lopsided than the final score would suggest.
When confetti rained down after the game, players and coaches celebrated while family members joined to bask in the glow of victory. It turns out there was one ex-girlfriend down on the field taking solace in the Chiefs loss as well.
Kayla Nicole, the ex-girlfriend of Kansas City star tight end Travis Kelce, was seen throughout the game wearing Philadelphia gear and cheering on the Eagles. After the game, Nicole made her way down to the field and got to dance around in the green confetti, celebrating with Eagles players and coaches.
These actions seem a bit pointed in a "celebrating Kelce's demise" sense, especially after her comments in a controversial conversation with People earlier this week where she opened up about the struggles of being labeled a W.A.G (wives and girlfriends) when dating Kelce.
While Nicole might have been having some fun, fans weren't all too thrilled with her postgame actions.
"This is …… corny," one fan commented on social media.
"Girl, it’s time to seek therapy and move on!!" another said.
"We gotta start calling women losers to their faces," one fan said.
"Taylor got booed, drake got called got called a pedo and the chiefs get blown out by 20 and somehow she's the biggest loser of the night," another fan added.
For someone wishing on the Chiefs downfall, and for Kelce in particular to have a bad game, Sunday was undoubtedly a great experience. Kelce had just four catches for 39 yards and no touchdowns, with all of that production coming in the second half when the game was already a blowout.
Now going forward, there are questions as to whether or not Kelce will continue to play or choose to hang up his cleats and retire.
