TOWIE bombshell! Ella Rae Wise addresses ex Dan Edgar’s romance with Chloe Lewis for the first time — and drops cryptic hints about ‘confusion’ and ‘unfinished business’ ahead of their tense on-screen meeting - suong

We thought we’d somehow entered a time warp and ended up back in 2015 when it came to light last month that TOWIE’s Dan Edgar and Chloe Lewis were dating after reconnecting at Georgia Kousoulou and Tommy Mallet’s Mallorca wedding in June.

Although a source told Closer it was ‘early days’, Dan and Chloe are ‘smitten’ with each other less than three months after his latest split from Ella Rae Wise. Dan and Ella have been on and off since hooking up in Bali last year and despite him asking her to be his girlfriend at the end of the last series of TOWIE, Ella called time on their relationship before entering the Celebrity Big Brother house in April.

Ahead of the new series of TOWIE, where she’ll come face-to-face with Dan onscreen for the first time since their split, Ella has now spoken out to reveal how she really feels about her ex’s new relationship.

Chatting exclusively to Closer at the ITV Reality showcase last week, Ella broke her silence on Dan and Chloe’s romance and her comments were surprisingly tame.

‘I think she’s an absolutely beautiful girl and, look, at the end of the day, if they are exploring things I wish them all the best,’ she told us.

When asked if she’s friends with Chloe or has any mutual pals, Ella added, ‘No, we don’t really have mutual friends.’

But despite her ex growing close to Chloe, Ella has teased ‘unfinished business’ between herself and Dan.

Speaking about where things stand between herself and Dan ahead of series 36, she explained, ‘Confusion. Potentially a lot of unfinished business. It all unfolds on the new series.'

She continued, ‘There’s a lot of speculation that has been cleared up. But it is good, and it’s probably ended the best way it could have ended.’

It looks like all will be revealed when TOWIE returns to our screens on Sunday 17 August. The show is back to two episodes a week, which means double the drama. Yay!
