Tom Schwartz has welcomed a new member to his family. Well, plant family to be more precise.
On Wednesday, February 26, the Vanderpump Rules alum took to Instagram to share the latest pickup for his Los Angeles bachelor pad. He snapped a photo from inside his car, showing off a lush Monstera wrapped in brown paper.
“Hello Gorgeous,” Tom captioned the Story before revealing the plant’s name. “Gorgeous George.”
A look back at Tom Schwartz's love of plants
Tom’s passion for greenery has been well-documented over the years. Fans have seen his houseplant collection in countless Instagram posts and various episodes of Vanderpump Rules. Tom touched on his green thumb in March 2024, insisting he was taking good care of his ever-expanding plant family.
“Being a new homeowner, you’re going to be obsessed with plants,” he told the DJ. “I got you a little Monstera.”
Tom left his previous apartment in the summer of 2024 and relocated to a new unit in North Hollywood. The Minnesota native has shared regular looks at the cozy digs, including its sleek, minimal kitchen; impressive home gym; light and airy bedroom; and spacious patio with jaw-dropping views.
He shares the home with Gordo and Butters, the adorable dogs he owns with his ex-wife, Katie Maloney.
What's next for Tom Schwartz?
In between his plant- and dog-parent duties, Tom is preparing to launch a podcast series, tentatively titled Detox/Retox. He spoke about the venture during his January 28 appearance on the LadyGang podcast, saying it would focus on his “new era.”
“It’s about balance, about the yin and yang of life,” he said. “It’s about the detox and the retox… One week, we’ll have guests on and we’ll nourish the mind, body, and soul, you know what I mean? Maybe some hot yoga, some Bikram, some transcendental meditation I’m not an expert in anything. I’ll be learning with the audience. And the next week, you know, we’re keeping it together so maybe we can fall apart a little bit, have a cheat day, indulge a little bit, you know?”
