Tom Sandoval has chosen not to beat the dead horse, James Kennedy, after he was arrested for DV in December. But, Tom did give his opinion on what happened in their friendship.
The season 3 star of The Traitors US gave his opinion on his former Vanderpump Rules co-star on The Viall Files podcast.
DJ James thrived during Scandoval:
Sandoval reconnected with Bachelor-turned-podcaster after they competed on Special Forces: World’s Toughest Test together.
Tom re-established how close he and James were at one point. Never forget, Tom helped finance James’ proposal to Raquel [now Rachel] Leviss before her affair with Sandoval started.
“Considering James and [my] past, he was getting chants going ‘Sandoval’s a liar,'” stated Sandoval.
“But, unlike, James Kennedy, I’m not going to kick him while he’s down. I’m sure he’s dealing with a lot.”
“With that being said, whether there’s alcohol involved or not, there’s absolutely no excuse for a man to put his hands on a woman.
“Also, there’s a lot of other previous allegations and where there’s smoke, there’s fire.
Regarding the other claims of DV at the hand of James Kennedy …
Kristen Doute spoke out against James:
Days, after news broke of James’ arrest, two of his former victims shared their perspectives on the matter.
Kristen took to her Instagram story for her statement. The mom-to-be reposted TMZ’s headline and added the caption, “FINALLY.” ICYMI, Kristen claimed the James Kennedy abuse allegations aren’t “alleged” at all.
The Valley star awkwardly chuckled as a podcast host asked, “Does James have a DJ name? DJ Beats … Women, allegedly?” After a strained silence, Kristen replied, “It’s not alleged.” What people are saying about James being abusive is “exactly right.”
The host continued to revisit the headlines alleging James is physically abusive, Kristen interjected, “No. It’s not alleged.”
Rachel entered the chat:
The now-sound healer’s lawyers weren’t shocked to hear the news of the DV charge against James. “This news is, unfortunately, not surprising. Rachel’s lawsuit describes, in significant detail, Mr. Kennedy’s long history of erratic, violent behavior and substance abuse.”
The attorneys called out the production company for VPR who they claim knew about the DJ’s “troubling behavior all along.”
“Leviss eventually warned Kennedy that she would leave him if he did not stop drinking. However, she soon learned that his despicable behavior was not solely a function of alcohol abuse.”
“At Thanksgiving with Leviss’s family in Arizona, Kennedy erupted at Leviss’s mother and father, and kicked her family dog four times in an uncontrollable rage.”
