Vanderpump Rules‘ Tom Sandoval hired a Calabasas lawyer, Colin Hardacre, to represent him in the invasion of privacy lawsuit Rachel Leviss filed against him.

According to court documents obtained by In Touch, Tom informed the court that opted not to represent himself as previously announced.

In case you missed it:

Tom bounced between legal representation since his former side-piece, Rachel, accused him of recording her without her consent.

Varand Gourjian is no longer be working on the case. He and his partner, Tara Karamians, had been working on Tom’s defense for months.

Previously, Tom had another lawyer, Matt Geragos, who he fired after he “misled” Tom into suing Ariana Madix.

Sandoval’s notice to the court explicitly stated he would represent himself moving forward. “He also notified Raquel and Ariana’s legal team of the decision.” Tom announced his latest lawyer, Colin Hardacre, in early January of 2025.

The end of an era:

Bravo TV fans have speculated that Tom fired his lawyer after sharing news he’s Schwartz & Sandy’s and losing his role on Vanderpump Rules to a group of new SURvers.

Tom wrote a goodbye post on Instagram for his co-workers and followers. “With a heavy heart, we’ve made the difficult decision to close Schwartz & Sandy’s at the end of December.

“This hasn’t been an easy choice for my partners and me, but other priorities and commitments have taken hold. While this business venture has been an incredible stepping stone in my life, one I will always cherish, I look forward to exciting new endeavors.”

“To our incredible staff and everyone who supported us along the way, you deserve true recognition. I can’t thank you enough for your endless commitment to making Schwartz & Sandy’s a place of everlasting memories.”
