Tom Brady the player had a track record of being a ruthless competitor. That mindset more than paid off for the future Pro Football Hall of Famer who won seven Super Bowls through his career.
He carried that over from his long tenure in New England to his final years with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, helping the NFC South franchise build a power that has lasted in the years since he hung up his cleats.
In that time Brady has not kept himself too far from the game. He has completed his first season in the broadcast booth with FOX, capped with the call on Super Bowl LIX last week.
Brady has also ventured back into the franchise aspect of the league with his partial ownership stake in the Las Vegas Raiders. Reports have indicated that he has had heavy influence as the franchise has continued to rebuild.
New Raiders' head coach Pete Carroll has already indicated Brady's influence in the team's proceedings. That trend seemed to continue with the team's hire of former Bucs assistant general manager John Spytek to their general manager position.
Nonetheless, the uber competitive and football driven Brady made intention to take his focus away from the game for at least in a moment in a post he shared to his Instagram story on Monday.
Brady shouted out his daughter Vivian, calling her his "Forever Valentine" in captioning a photo of the two skiing.
Vivian is one of Brady's three kids and his second with his ex-wife Gisele Bundchen. Since the two split in October of 2022, they have maintained a coparenting relationship.
Brady has kept himself busy while Bundchen and her new boyfriend Joaquim Valente are expecting her third child.
Nonetheless, it is a nice glimpse into Brady's personal life, showing he is more than the fierce competitor and now entrepreneur most sports fans have come to know.
While Brady has some extent of involvement with the Raiders heading into the offseason, he will finally catch his breath as the football season has come to a close. Brady seems to always have something going on, but his Sundays should be opening up.
