Tom Brady shared a new Instagram Stories post amid news that his ex-wife, model Gisele Bündchen is expecting her first child with her boyfriend, Joaquim Valente.
On Monday, Oct. 28, Brady, 47, posted a photo of a sunset along with The Chicks' cover of the classic Fleetwood Mac song “Landslide". The lyrics, written by Stevie Nicks, reflect on feeling lost but finding one’s way.
Brady's post included three heart emojis and the lyrics: "Oh mirror in the sky, what is love / Can the child inside my heart rise above / Can I sail through the changing ocean tides?"
Brady did not post an explanation or follow-up. He and Bündchen finalized their divorce in 2022 after 13 years of marriage and agreed to joint custody of their children.
The Fleetwood Mac song begins with undeniable frustration over a Keith Olsen-produced beat. "I took my love, I took it down / Climbed a mountain and I turned around / And I saw my reflection in the snow covered hills / 'Til the landslide brought me down."
"Well, I've been 'fraid of changin' / 'Cause I've built my life around you / But time makes you bolder / Even children get older / And I'm gettin' older, too."
Nicks told The Arizona Republic in June 1998, “I had gotten to a point where it was like, ‘I'm not happy. I am tired. But I don't know if we can do any better than this. If nobody likes this, then what are we going to do?’ “
The performer added, “So during that two months I made a decision to continue. ‘Landslide’ was the decision.”
Before Brady's Instagram Stories post, PEOPLE confirmed that Bündchen, 44, is pregnant with her third child. She already shares son Benjamin Rein, 14, and daughter Vivian Lake, 11, with Brady. "Gisele and Joaquim are happy for this new chapter in their life and they're looking forward to creating a peaceful and loving environment for the whole family," a source tells PEOPLE in a statement.
In February 2024, a source confirmed to PEOPLE that Bündchen and Valente, 37, had been dating since June 2023.
