Tom Brady Sends Strong Warning to Panthers Before Disrespecting Patrick Mahomes’ Chiefs Over Super Bowl Hopes

Every fan’s jaw dropped as the Chiefs lost their undefeated streak. Nobody predicted this, as they were a train that never seemed like it was going to derail. However, the Chiefs’ defeat was maybe written this way. Anyway, the team now will be seeking to move on, but their loss has had an influence on their power rankings. Not the NFL Power Rankings, but Tom Brady’s Power Rankings.

Yes, you heard that correctly. The NFL icon Brady was present at NFL on Fox to discuss his Power Rankings. Interestingly, the man disclosed that the Chiefs have dropped in the rankings for the first time. After holding the rank 1 for ten weeks in a row, Patrick Mahomes’ team has fallen to rank 3.

It is disheartening, but hopes from the team are still alive. Tom Brady believes the squad will recover and be powerful in their next game. This is why the Icon thinks the Carolina Panthers should be ‘extra ready‘ for the game.

The Chiefs were the best squad of this season, and they would like to reclaim this. Patrick Mahomes and company would be hoping for a blowout victory on Sunday. If the Panthers want to win the game, they not only need to prevent a blowout loss but also devise counter-strategies for the Chiefs.

The former QB stated, “They lost their undefeated season when it came to an end in Buffalo on Sunday. But I have no doubt Patrick and the Chiefs will get back to their winning ways…but I feel good about Kansas City bouncing back this week when they take on the Panthers. I am going to be watching.”

While this was an appreciation for the Chiefs, Tom Brady later almost disrespected last year’s champions.

Tom Brady picked his NFL Power Rankings on recency bias

Even if you’ve worked extremely hard, one tiny mistake can ruin everything. The Kansas City Chiefs are currently experiencing the same situation. Mahomes and Co are defending champions and they have been one of the best NFL teams in the last two years. So, why are they being picked as number three after just one loss this season?

Well, that’s where recency bias comes in. Brady picked his rankings with what happened in week 11. Not very respectful for the two-time Super Bowl winners.
