Tom Brady Says His 'Greatest Football Memory' Is Celebrating 2021 NFC Championship Victory with Son Jack

Even after 10 Super Bowls, Tom Brady's favorite memory on the football field was a sweet moment with his oldest child!

In a new clip from Brady’s Last Week podcast, Brady revealed that his “greatest football memory” is a more recent moment off the field.

Brady revealed how special it was to have his eldest son, Jack, in the stands after the Tampa Bay Buccaneers' victory over the Green Bay Packers in the 2021 NFC Championship game on Jan. 24, 2021. The win punched Brady's ticket to his tenth and final Super Bowl. Tom Brady NFC Championship game at Lambeau Field on January 24, 2021 in Green Bay, Wisconsin

"When [Jack] came down and gave me a hug, that was probably one of the greatest days of my life," Brady said in the clip, published on Friday, Nov. 8.

The scene Brady described then played. Brady headed to the sidelines to ask security, “Can I say ‘Hi’ to my son?” Jack quickly came down to hug his dad.

“How about that? We’re gonna go to the Super Bowl,” he told Jack, who was 15 at the time. “What do you think? I love you, man. Way to go. I'll see you. I'll call you a little bit later.”

“Alright, love you,” replied Jack, with Brady adding, “Love you, kiddo.”

After that game, Brady and the Buccaneers took home the Super Bowl trophy by defeating the Kansas City Chiefs 31-9. It was Brady’s seventh Super Bowl win.

In October 2022, Brady opened up about watching Jack play quarterback on his high school football team.

"I love watching him play quarterback because I think there's very few things in life that I could probably help him with," Brady said. "You know, I don't have a lot of specialties in life other than probably throwing the football."

"He's way smarter. He's got a great work ethic," Brady added. "He's just a great kid. But I can definitely help him at quarterback."

In April 2024, Brady shared that Jack is “an amazing young man.”

“Straight A’s. Handles himself so well in groups of people and I see him and he’s 16, and I’m like how are you so mature," Brady said. "[He] lives in New York City, puts his heart and soul into everything he does. I mean he just, he blows me away with who he is."
