FOX's NFL coverage has become a must-watch for fans, not just for the games but also for the personalities on the panel, including recent addition Tom Brady alongside Terry Bradshaw and Co.
However, the panel isn't universally loved, with social media users often voicing their criticisms. There have been some awkward moments recently, mostly involving Bradshaw, that have left viewers either uncomfortable or thoroughly entertained.
With that mind, let's imagine what Fox NFL's worst nightmare could look like...
Terry Bradshaw retires
Bradshaw is becoming more known for his blunders than his insights, leading some viewers to call for the Pittsburgh Steelers legend to retire gracefully.
The 76-year-old has made several on-air errors and some of his opinions, such as one about the Steelers' Russell Wilson, haven't aged well. He's also had awkward exchanges with Michael Strahan and Brady.
Despite this, many still find him entertaining and his retirement would leave a big gap in FOX's lineup.
Tom Brady leaves
Who better to become an in-game analyst than the former Super Bowl MVP?
Brady was a major coup for Fox, signing a massive 10-year deal worth $375million. Surely, he'll be a mainstay of the network's coverage for the next decade, right?
Mayne not. Brady's recent analysis has sparked mixed reactions, with some fans doubting his longevity in Fox's broadcast team. A poll by Front Office Sports suggests that the former New England Patriots quarterback might not be on air in three years.
Despite his iconic status, it's hard to imagine FOX letting go of their star recruit. Yet, Brady's diverse business ventures, including ties with English soccer club Birmingham City, could lead him to leave for other pursuits.
There's even chatter about him being snapped up by a competing network eager to add his star power to their roster.
Strahan controversy rumbles on
The host was at the centre of unwanted headlines and social media debate after failing to put his hand over his chest during a playing of the national anthem while attending a Veterans Day event with his FOX colleagues.
Strahan, whose father served in the military, was subsequently confronted by a reporter at his home and pushed away the camera. He then took to social media to apologize via video. In his statement, he clarified that he wasn't protesting.
"I have nothing to protest," said Strahan. "I have no statement to be made. The only statement that should be made and I want to make is: I love the military. I've always loved the military, and I always love the military."
Strahan insisted he had simply been lost in a moment of respect for the armed forces as The Star Spangled Banner started playing, opting to keep his hand by his side rather than putting it on his heart too late.
"Do I be the fool that puts his hand over his heart after, or do I just stand with my hands in front of me respectfully? " he added. "That's what I did. That's what happened."
Strahan and Fox will be hoping that will put an end to the issue.
