Tom Brady makes heartbreaking confession about parenting after ex-wife Gisele Bundchen’s shocking pregnancy news

Seven-time Super Bowl champion Tom Brady shared a heartfelt perspective on parenting while speaking at the Fortune Global Forum in New York. His comments come just days after his ex-wife, Gisele Bundchen, announced that she and her partner are expecting.

During his recent appearance, Brady discussed the challenges of parenthood. He shares a 17-year-old son, Jack Edward Thomas, with actress and former girlfriend Bridget Moynahan, and he is also father to 13-year-old Benjamin Rein and 11-year-old Vivian Lake with Bündchen.

As a public figure, Brady’s relationships are in the face of millions of followers and fans. The 47-year-old spoke honestly about his experience as a parent, going as far as to say that he isn’t an expert in parenting.

All of the parents of the room know that being a parent is probably the hardest job all of us have and we screw up a lot, and I’ve screwed up a lot as a parentSo I don’t want to seem like I’m some expert in parenting, because I’m certainly not that.

Brady mentioned that he aims to “be reliable and consistent for them” and to support “whatever they aspire to achieve in life” when talking about his three “incredible” kids. Brady also traced his parenting style to his parents – Galynn and Tom Brady Sr, giving them a shoutout during the event.

They never said, ‘Man, don’t do that. It’s gonna be too hard. Let’s do something different. Let’s think about another backup plan. They kinda said, ‘You know what? Go for it. Whatever you wanna be, go for it. And that’s probably my parenting style.

Jack Edward Thomas, the eldest son of Tom Brady, is 17 years old and taller than the quarterback himself. Brady shared his approach to parenting when it comes to his teen son, who, at 6-foot-5, dreams of becoming a basketball player.

Unfortunately, he jumps as high as I do, but I tell him, ‘Dude, you’re gonna be a stud.’ I said, ‘Wait till you hit your growth spurt, you’re gonna be jumping higher, you’re gonna be dunkin’. And whether he does or not, who cares? But I want him to know that his dad’s got his back.

Brady also acknowledged that being his son comes with a lot of challenges. He, at one point, admitted that it “sucks to be his son“.
