Tom Brady has plenty of treasured Super Bowl memories. But he also has plenty of nightmares from his playing days that rivals are happy to remind him about.
That was the case this past weekend when the former New England Patriots quarterback -- now a TV broadcaster -- was on hand for the Eagles' Week 15 matchup against the Steelers. Brady was on the field when Philadelphia pass rusher Brandon Graham decided to sneak up on Brady from behind.
Just like he did in Super Bowl LII. Graham was the one responsible for the strip-sack on Brady in the closing minutes of the game, snuffing out New England’s best chance of coming back.
“I just wanted to do that one more time,” Graham said as he came around Brady.
You can watch the clip of the exchange here.
Brady took the moment in stride with a laugh, but did rib the Eagles start in return.
“How’re you gonna do me like that? After all the good will all these years?” Brady said with a laugh as he hugged Graham.
Brady decided to return the favor, joking “Let me do it to you! I’m gonna get you back!” as he wrapped up Graham.
Remember, Patriots players and fans are never too safe when it comes to bad Super Bowl memories. Whether it’s the Helmet Catch, Philly Special or the Graham sack. Rivals (and TV networks) all always ready to bring it up.
